My first piano album is out on all digital platforms ✨🎹
It’s a constellation of preludes and improvisations. My own compositions resonate with the preludes of Bach and Chopin 🎵

On ‘Loop Tales’, @camilleelbacha and @naghibofficial bring Western classical piano into dialogue with Persian and Middle Eastern percussion. Each piece unfolds as a looping narrative built on repetition and evolving cycles that gradually transform. The piano evokes a rich musical language, while percussion adds a vibrant rhythmic dimension. The duo take inspiration from a myriad of cultures and traditions, including pearl divers in the Persian Gulf in the luminous and melancholic 8 Pearls.

Pianist @camilleelbacha has developed a personal musical language bridging classical heritage and contemporary creativity. On ‘Loop Tales’ he is joined by @naghibofficial, a virtuoso on zarb, daf, dohola, kouzeh and bendir, who brings the rich percussive traditions of southern Iran. Together they shape an immersive sound world.

On Tokyo Train, a rhythmic ostinato pays homage to Steve Reich, evoking the train's movement while a repetitive harmonic loop unfolds and blurs all sense of return.

Looking back at Amman Jazz! ✨
Lynn Adib invited us on a journey where jazz met Arabic heritage, where tradition flowed effortlessly into improvisation, and where every note revealed a new landscape of sound.
Alongside Wadie Naim on drums, Camille El Bacha on piano, and Guillaume Latil on cello, she crafted an evening that lingered long after the final note.

@camilleelbacha joins forces with percussionist @naghibofficial for ‘Loop Tales’ — an intimate dialogue between Western classical piano and Persian and Middle Eastern percussion. Each piece unfolds as a looping narrative built on repetition and evolving cycles that gradually transform. This intimate journey begins with the title track, Loop Tale, an almost childlike, melancholic and minimalist melody, built on a rhythm inspired by the bandari music of southern Iran.
