Let me reintroduce myself I’m Camille Le Caer.
I started cooking in small kitchens back in Brittany, learned discipline and craft in Paris, and grew through long, humbling shifts in New York City before finding my home in Buffalo.
From fine dining to the firehouse, every stop has taught me something about food, people, and purpose.
Still learning, still grateful.

Recovery is part of the training.

Lumos has been a huge part of my recovery journey from training for and completing a marathon, to crossing the finish line at my first IRONMAN, and through the physical demands of being a firefighter.

The infrared sauna, cold plunge, and recovery sessions help me reset both physically and mentally. It’s not just about recovery it’s about creating space for a fresh mindset, reducing stress, and being part of a community that welcomes everyone with open arms, no matter their background.

I AM AN IRONMAN.

An IRONMAN is 140.6 miles (226.2 km):
2.4 mile (3.8 km) swim
112 mile (180 km) bike
26.2 mile (42.2 km) marathon

I had the privilege of completing it at @ironmantri Lake Placid, considered by many to be one of the toughest IRONMAN courses in North America because of its relentless climbing and demanding terrain.

The race lasted one day. The journey lasted months.

Early mornings before sunrise. Late nights after everyone was asleep. Leaving the firehouse after a shift to train. Finishing private dinners and finding time for another workout. Getting my children ready in the morning. Somehow making the impossible work.

This medal isn’t just about one finish line it’s about every sacrifice, every doubt, every mile, and every moment when quitting would’ve been easier.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible people around me.

Thank you to my coach, @dantehatem, for believing in me every step of the way.

To my biggest fans, Emile & Leia 💙I hope one day you’ll understand that every mile I raced was to show you that impossible is often just a starting point.

To my parents, Jacques & Jacqueline🥖🥖 , thank you for traveling from France to be at the finish line. To my American mom and event coordinator, Molly, thank you for always supporting me. My bro V🇬🇧 Sis Emma & her fam in Norway! 🇳🇴

Lake Placid was beautiful. Brutal. Breathtaking. Humbling.

I’ll carry this memory for the rest of my life. I am proud to call myself an IRONMAN.

Now it’s time to recover… one final adventure.
