Summer has begun 🌈

This is the closest thing I have in the city to remind me of my home. I love the beach more than anything and we are so lucky to have such a beautiful, safe space to enjoy in Toronto. So grateful ❤️

Let me introduce myself ❤️

I grew up in a house where we talked about politics. My parents taught me the importance of voting. The importance of being on the right side of history. I remember going to the voting station with my Nanny while she told me and my sister about the first time she voted and the immense honour and duty it is to be politically engaged.

So let me make some things clear:

I am LGBTQ+ and believe trans rights are human rights and want the persecution of trans people to stop.

I am Pro-Woman and believe woman have the right to do with their bodies whatever they want including getting an abortion for whatever reason they may choose.

I am Pro-Men who listen, find strength in helping others, who don’t take advantage of those who are weaker or those who are different. Pro- Men who not only speak out about it but stop violence against woman.

I am Pro-public healthcare and education.

I believe every child matters no matter where they come from or who their parents are.

I grew up in a religious home where going to church meant community, helping those who need it, giving back to those who have less, learning our differences make us stronger not weaker.

I am Pro-Palestine.

I strongly oppose antisemitism and the rise of it in our cities is a massive concern. I am anti-terrorism & extremism.

Black & Brown Lives Matter.

I vote person over party- I have voted green, red, orange and blue in both Provincial and Federal elections.

I am anti-war, anti-genocide, anti-killing children and civilians.

I will never judge you based on your religion, the colour of your skin or where you from. I will judge you on your actions and your words.

I come from the smallest province, a seven generation beef and potato farm, and came out at a young age. I have faced people saying mean things about me and to me since then which has made me into the strong, outspoken man I am today.

The moment I started working at Barry’s I vowed to myself my Red Room would be a place of acceptance, safety and respect, which is what I found when I went to my first class eight years ago.

Please stop the madness people!!!

Every body is so different so stop trying to fit someone else’s routine into your body. I’ve been working with lower body injuries for a decade from 20+ years of dancing and my lower body days look very different compared to others.

@karenbwong created light weight workouts specifically for me to keep my body safe while making sure I couldn’t walk for 3 business days after because they are so effective for me.

That’s what working with a good trainer should do.

September was truly chaotic and stressful and beautiful.

2. Went home to PEI last minute because my Mom was in the hospital (she’s doing great now). A reminder of how special family and home is.

OK TORONTO!

The last mayoral election 30% of eligible voters voted.

Let’s change that this year 👏🏻

Take a look around the planet at what’s happening and remind yourself how lucky we are that we get to freely go to an election and vote however we choose.

If you’re someone who hasn’t voted before- DM ME! I can help you locate your voter card and you can ask questions. There are no stupid questions.

If you’re someone who doesn’t know how to vote ask yourself: What’s important to me? What’s important to those I love?

Another easy way to look at it: if you were at a party with the supporters of each candidate who would you have the most in common with?

This is wild… 2026 ➡️ 2017 😳

Same shirt and same belt?! 9 years later. Say what you want but this American Apparel shirt has stood the test of time and remains in perfect condition.

I love that Cameron so much. Being brave enough to follow his dreams of performing, falling in love, moving wherever my career or heart took me. Need to listen to that version of myself more today.
