Episode 8 is LIVE!

12 Rounds with Brickcity Boxing Club

He started boxing to stand up for himself. Now he teaches everyone else how. 🥊

Joe “The Future” Hanks grew up in Newark, NJ, where he first laced up to learn how to protect himself. That kid went on to become a former undefeated heavyweight prospect, a 23-win pro with 15 knockouts, and an IBA Americas Heavyweight Champion.

Today, he’s bringing every lesson from the ring to BrickCity Boxing LA in Pasadena. 🏆

This isn’t just a gym. It’s a family. Our youngest boxer is 4. Our oldest is in his 70s. Whether you’re a total beginner, a seasoned fighter, or someone who just needs a place to let it all go, you belong here. Every body. Every ability. Every story. 💪🏾

We’ve been knocked down before, and this community picked us right back up. That’s what Brick City is about.

As Coach Joe says: “Boxing’s a lot cheaper than therapy.” 😉

Things we used to do in the 1900s...

1. Scrub clothes by hand for hours.
2. Crank your coffee by hand.
3. Spin a dial to call someone.
4. Typewriter: One typo = start over.
5. Roll hand wraps with a hand crank.
Wait... we still do this? Not anymore.

Welcome to 2026. Introducing the iWrap by Campmode. The world’s first wall-mounted electronic boxing hand wrap roller. Hand wraps, rolled perfectly. Every time. Prep less. Train more. 🥊

12 Rounds, Episode 5, drops NOW.🔔

He came to L.A. with nothing. Now he owns a gym. 🥊

Meet Jake Baird: 25+ years as a fighter and coach, and a former sparring partner in pro fight camps. He started Immortals Boxing during the pandemic as a mobile trainer with one motto: “Have mitts, will travel.”

It grew into a gym in East Pasadena, and now a home in the heart of Old Town.

Inside Immortals:

🥊 Coaches with real fight experience, including a 2020 Olympic Qualifier silver medalist

🥊 Classes for every level: boxing basics, women’s boxing, youth (7+), a class built for ages 55+, and strength & conditioning

🥊 A full ring, heavy bags, weights, cardio, and a sauna

🥊 Free private parking

The philosophy: everyone should know how to fight. No ego, just real fundamentals.

And… Jake just finished writing his first book 📖 (not about boxing).

🥊 EPISODE LIVE NOW 🥊

Welcome to @cannonnationboxing.

One came up between Compton and Watts, won The Contender, fought for a world title, and sits at #2 in the WBC & #3 in the IBF today.

One walked into a boxing gym at 22 looking for a way to protect herself — and became The People’s Coach, the blueprint a generation of women trainers now points to.

Brandon “The Cannon” Adams and Kamille “Coach Kamm” Manalo opened Cannon Nation in 2022 on one idea: the same things that make a champion make a better human.
