De bejubelde en ontroerende voorstelling Plum Road Tea Dream_the performance van Samuel Baidoo (@samuel__baidoo ) komt deze week (op 1/10) naar CAMPO! Een voorstelling waar gaming en theater op een innovatieve manier elkaar versterken. Een pareltje dat je niet kan missen.

Wat een mooi avond gisteren. We gloeien nog na! De allereerste CAMPO CABARET. Helemaal vol. Met interventies van studenten dans Conservatorium Antwerpen, Leon Locher @leonluap , Mohsen Al Zaher @mohsen_alzaher , Margarida Constantino @margarida1.61 , Andreas Crommelinck @andreascrommelinck & Felix Heremans @felix_heremans .

Prints on drift
A moving poster collection

Posters willen onze aandacht trekken. Ze maken onmiskenbaar deel uit van het straatbeeld. Geïnspireerd door de figuur van de heckler - iemand die een publiek evenement bewust verstoort - vroeg CAMPO zestien kunstenaars om een (ontwrichtende) poster te ontwerpen.

Het resultaat? Zestien opvallende ontwerpen die op mobiele sandwichborden door de stad trekken. Als een onvoorspelbare kudde schapen doorkruisen ze het alledaagse stadsleven en nodigen ze je uit om even stil te staan.

We kunnen niet wachten om de nieuwe CAMPO-productie ‘The Harvest of Broken Promises’ van Pankaj Tiwari aan het Gentse publiek voor te stellen.

Op 23 (uitverkocht), 25 en 26/09.

Hier enkele beelden van het repetitieproces. Een intense en wonderbaarlijke periode. Na een eerste internationale tournee (’s-Hertogenbosch, Hamburg en Genève) zijn we blij om eindelijk op onze thuisbasis te landen.

𝗡𝗟 | Twaalf jaar lang onderzocht Lisa Vereertbrugghen de wereld van de (hardcore) techno. Nu richt ze zich op het andere uiteinde van het snelheidsspectrum: de slow, die radicaal anders aan de slag gaat met intimiteit en tijd. Losgetrokken uit haar traditionele context en verbonden met queer nightlife, ontwikkelt de slow zich tot een collectieve praktijk van verzet.

𝗙𝗥 | Pendant douze ans, Lisa Vereertbrugghen a exploré l’univers de la techno (hardcore). Elle s’intéresse à présent à l’extrême opposé du spectre de la vitesse : le slow, par lequel l’intimité et le temps sont abordés de manière radicalement différente. Détaché de son contexte traditionnel et lié à la vie nocturne queer, le slow se développe en une pratique collective de résistance.

𝗘𝗡 | For the past twelve years, Lisa Vereertbrugghen has explored the world of (hardcore) techno. Now, she is shifting her focus to the other end of the speed spectrum: the slow, which approaches intimacy and time in a radically different way. Torn from its traditional context and connected to queer nightlife, the slow is developing into a collective practice of resistance.
