🇩🇴 Super happy to announce that I won my first National Title yesterday in La Romana, Dominican Republic. It’s been a while since I posted on here but I cant believe I threw the SAME exact mark from last indoor conference (20.71m) But that’s alright, I had the best series I’ve ever had and I think I finally am starting to feel a connection with the ball and a feeling I can really get behind, I also had 3 throws over 20.50m. Anywayyyy that wraps up my indoor AE conference, 3- time consecutive weight throw champion and i tied my record from last year so I can’t be too mad. BUT we got more in the tank 🙂! Oh and I surprised myself with this 19.87m 2- turn Lmfaoo by @camposthrows

Been working on my 4 turns this summer. I think they’ve been coming along to say the least. Things have been starting to click and make more sense now I just I need to stop being so scared and let it take me without taking it somewhere it doesn’t want to go ofc 😭 #hammerthrow #trackandfield #athlete by @camposthrows

After fouling out for the first time in my life at my season opener I took a step back to think. And just when I thought my troubles were over, I was hit with some personal issues that took me out for 3 weeks. I wanted to give up, kick, scream, I didn’t understand why these things were happening to me but then I understood they were happening FOR me, I realized I have a lot of growing to do. Despite all of this I was able to go to Penn Relays and PR by nearly 4m with 61.35m which won the collegiate section of women’s hammer throw and also broke the event record. On top of this I returned on Friday from penns and competed again at RPI on Saturday, it was tough but I got it done, I was able to throw over my old PR (57.68m) and throw 58.16m with a 4 turn. I’ve been working on my 4 turns and I’m ready to see where they take me !❤️ back to the lab🦾 #hammerthrow #pennrelays #throwernation by @camposthrows

Weight PR 20.71m❗️it’s been a while but this is how I ended my indoor season. I had been practicing my three turns for the season, considering I started a little late since I was focused on hammer during the month of November and half of December due to junior pan ams, I’m glad I was able to execute a 3 the way I knew how. Woo I haven’t posted in a min but I’ve been workingg! sooo this is a tb to April at the Virginia Challenge where I broke the school record for Ualbany. It’s still pretty crazy to me considering how I was throwing but I know there’s much more left in me. This was my best series but I Can’t wait for next outdoor so i can see how far I can go with hammer but until then we’re getting ready for indoor 💜💛 by @camposthrows

Not a season opener but second meet of the season With a 3m PB of 56.33 🏋🏽‍♀️Don’t wanna even talk about the season opener cuz I didn’t perform how I wanted to and even now I know there is so much more in the tank. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds for me and we’ll continue to push forward and see where everyday takes us. I haven’t posted in a minute but best believe I’ve been working, so I followed up with some 3k and a vid from the very beginning of the season. I Can’t wait to see where I’m at at the end of the season! Sooo recap for the season, ECAC went pretty well still a little disappointed but I came in 4th with a PR of 18.81m. This season has definitely taught me a lot, i still don’t like weight lmaoo but some things finally clicked. But now its HAMMER TIMEEE 🥳the last vid is one of the few times I’ve ever done 4 turns, it’s like the third day of hammer practice but we’re getting there, I hope I have some connections this season with hammer. I throw weight like a hammer and now i throw hammer like a weight 🙄Definitely making some changes this season so I hope they pay off #bantheweight #hammerthrow #weightthrow by @camposthrows

Haven’t posted in a while but I prd two weeks ago at conference with a throw of 18.47m. Finally broke the 60ft barrier now on the road to 70 🧐. I won the meet but I still want more, I know I have a lot more in me and I want to execute before my season is over. Now we’re onto ECACS which is this weekend, I’ve been battling a respiratory infection since a little before conference and it’s just getting worse but I’m willing to push through, I’m trying to rest but at the same time get some throws in so I don’t go in there and just forget how to throw 😔😂 we’ll see what I can do this weekend! 💰💰 #bantheweight #weightthrow by @camposthrows
