You mean my phone won’t work?

Yes! And that’s kind of the point. 🌊☀️

Trade notifications for ocean waves, screen time for snorkeling with marine life, and the noise of everyday life for the kind of quiet that lets you slow down and listen for God’s voice.

At Campus by the Sea, there’s room to unplug from the outside world, draw closer to Jesus, and make meaningful memories with the people around you. 💙

Less noise. Fewer distractions. More room for what matters most.

Today we welcomed our first group of campers on our new work floats!

As a major infrastructure upgrade, these new floats represent a significant investment in our ministry’s future and in the generations of campers who will experience God’s love, grow in faith, and build Christ-centered community here for years to come.

To everyone who has prayed, given, and followed along on this journey, thank you for helping make this possible! We’re celebrating this exciting milestone and looking forward to all that God has in store for the future of CBS. taken in Catalina Island by @campusbythesea

After years of planning, months of building, weeks of travel, and plenty of logistics along the way… they’re finally here! ⚓️🌊

Our new work floats have safely arrived in Gallagher’s Cove at Campus by the Sea!

This has been a long and expensive project, made possible by the generosity, prayers, and support of so many who believe in the ministry of CBS. We’re so grateful to finally see years of planning become reality! taken in Catalina Island by @campusbythesea

Our hearts and prayers are with the family and friends of those involved, the first responders, and the entire Avalon community in the wake of this week’s tragic helicopter crash.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Ever wonder what it’s actually like to live and work at Campus by the Sea? 🌴🌊

We asked our Seasonal Staff in the kitchen, on crew, and in the camp store a few questions about living on Catalina Island, Christian community, working at camp, and everything in between.

Over the next few weeks, we’re giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the people who help make camp happen everyday.

Because CBS is more than a place to work, it’s a place to live, serve, grow, laugh, develop lifelong friendships, and experience God moving through everyday life.

And if you’ve ever wondered what it might be like to be part of the CBS team… maybe this series is for you! taken in Catalina Island by @campusbythesea
