Ever wonder how a small act of kindness can make a HUGE impact? 🌟

Thanks to Daniel Rowe from Troop 351, our Veterans at CampV now have 17 beautiful picnic tables to enjoy! Whether it's for a Rally Point luncheon or a peaceful moment under the shade trees.

Thank you to John Soules for donating the materials. Your generosity means the world to us!

These tables will serve our Veterans for years to come, and we're grateful to everyone who made this possible.

Thank you for supporting those who served! by @campvtx

Ever wondered how a day on the golf course can make a difference? 🏌️‍♂️

This Monday, we joined the Bethesda Health Clinic Greens for Pink Golf Tournament.

Supporting fellow non-profits is very important to our organization. Our partners support us in so many ways, and what better way to show appreciation and support than with a fun round of golf for a great cause? ⛳️

Did you know that golf provides many therapeutic benefits to Veterans?

Buddy Check Day! A reminder from MVPN to check in and see how fellow Veterans are doing. Tag a veteran and check in!

Buddy Check Day is a @txveteranscommission initiative. Today serves as a reminder for Veterans to reach out, connect, and check in on one another. Checking on your buddy can be a text, call, or a short visit.

The 11th also holds deeper meaning: Veterans Day, November 11th, began as Armistice Day, marking the end of World War I on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. The name later changed to honor all who have served.

For many Veterans, service members, first responders, families, and Americans, the memories of 9/11 remain deeply personal.

Those present witnessed firsthand a moment that changed our nation and the lives of countless Americans forever.

On that day, we saw both the worst and the very best of humanity, unimaginable hatred and destruction, but also extraordinary courage, sacrifice, compassion, and selflessness. In our darkest hours, Americans ran to help one another, strangers became neighbors, and our country stood together as one nation.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger. We remember the men and women who answered the call to serve in the years that followed, and we honor all Veterans whose lives and service have been shaped by the events of September 11.

Twenty-five years have passed, and a generation is growing up that did not experience that day.

It is our responsibility to remember, and to teach them why we remember.

Tell them what happened. Tell them about the lives lost, the courage shown, the sacrifices made, and the way Americans stood together in the face of tragedy.

September 11 happened. It changed us. And we must never allow it to become just another page in a history book.

We will remember.
We will tell their stories.
We will never forget. by @campvtx

🍎 BACK TO SCHOOL: CAMPV GUESS WHO!

We had so much fun yesterday showing off the CampV team in their best back-to-school outfits that we decided to have a little fun and take it back a few years... okay, maybe more than a few.

We dug up some REAL school-day photos of some of the crew, and now it's your turn to figure out who's who!

Each photo is numbered 1–10. Can you match each one to the correct team member?

Saraí - CampV, Reception
Vicki - Veteran Caregivers
John - CampV, Veteran Services Manager
Tami - CampV, Development Director
Ashley - CampV, Executive Assistant
Travis - CampV, Executive Director
Bailey - CampV, Programs and Events
Sheila - WorkForce Solutions East Texas
Mark - CampV, Community Engagement
Paige - CampV, Office Manager
Kitty - Volunteer Extraordinaire

HERE'S HOW TO PLAY:
Comment below with your guesses, matching each name to a photo number.

✈️ GET THEM ALL RIGHT AND YOU COULD WIN!

Everyone who correctly matches all photos will be entered into a drawing to win TWO Adult Lieutenant's Landing @rosecityairfest Tickets! We will award the first 5 winners and will announce them tomorrow.

Study those pictures, turn in your answers below, and let's see who gets the "A."

And to anyone who already knows the answers... no helping your classmates! 👀 *cough, Travis* 😂

Good luck!
