Which session is the best session?? 🤔 ⬇️ by @campwareagle

These are the faces of some former campers who were so impacted by their time at CWE that they decided to stick with it for the long haul and join our staff team, in a variety of roles & positions. We sure do love them!

Our campers are the reason we exist. If you're a former camper applying to be a staff member, we want to give back to you to via our Legacy Scholarship. Thanks for investing your time into making this place magical year after year. 🤍

Link to apply is in our bio!

Meet our admin team! They do a lot of behind-the-scenes work to keep camp moving and grooving! 📞 📎
.
Hear more about them from Brandi, the Senior Assistant Director of Admin.
Q:What does your team do in the summer & in the off-season?
A: In the summer, we do a lot of essential tasks like communicating with families, supporting the summer office team, managing the camper care closet, lost & found, postcards, and organizing packets for opening and closing day.
In the off-season, we answer family questions, review and sort applications and paperwork, attend trainings, and volunteer in the community. Our focus in the off-season is cleaning and recapping the previous summer and prepping for the upcoming summer!
Q: What is your favorite part of working on the admin team?
A: My favorite part of working on the admin team is definitely the people I get to interact with. I love getting to work with our team, seeing everyone grow, and watching all of our different strengths come together. I also love knowing that even though a lot of what we do happens behind the scenes, it has a huge impact on the camper and family experience at CWE. And honestly, I love that we get to work hard, have fun, and make camp happen together. by @campwareagle

It is with a heavy heart that we share the recent passing of one of our former campers and staff members, Javier Tejidor.

Javi was a light to many. He always made people laugh, and was above all dedicated to the kids he interacted with as a counselor. He knew the impact camp had on him, and how it could shape the lives of others. He made sure other kids had the same experience he did. He never took things too seriously, and always knew how to have fun. We are grateful to know that he is with the Lord in peace.

CWE always grieves the loss of those that have been so invested with us; as friends, but also as partners in reaching the children of Northwest Arkansas. We extend our love and many prayers to Javi's family and friends, and any others impacted by this loss. 💙

Camp isn't just a week or two of your child's summer; it has the potential to impact their whole life.

Meet Hannah! She was a camper in 2006 and has stuck around camp in many different roles throughout the years. Her story is a picture of the legacy and life-change that comes from being invested in something bigger than yourself. 🤟 by @campwareagle
