For me, this was one of my favorite moments from my trip to France this summer. I loved watching the enthusiasm of the crowd and partaking in the enjoyment. I could have stood there listening for another hour, I was so completely enthralled by the sounds of this genre of sound I had never even known existed. taken in Marseille, France by @camrosenstein

I love discovering new hotels - it’s one of my favorite past times! I literally will go on Google Maps, type in a city and find hotels. I started a Google list called Incredible Hotels earlier this year and I figured I should share them!

@hoteldelaplage_capferret - Cap Ferret

A classic French seaside escape, where the pleasures are pleasingly uncomplicated: the beach, a long lunch, an afternoon in the sun. Hôtel de la Plage has the easy, nostalgic charm that makes you want to extend the stay.

@lafoliebarbizon - Barbizon

A country-house retreat in the village that once drew Cézanne, Millet, and generations of artists from Paris. Hotel La Folie captures Barbizon’s particular magic: woodland, art, and the romance of escaping the city without going very far.

@lpm_hameaudesbaux - Paradou

Hidden among the olive groves of the Alpilles, Hameau des Baux is Provence without the postcard clichés. Think old stone, contemporary touches, excellent food, and the sort of setting that makes a weekend feel considerably longer.

 @lessourcesdevougeot - Gilly-lès-Cîteaux

For a taste of Burgundy beyond the grand wine estates, look to Les Sources de Vougeot. Set among some of the region’s most storied vineyards, it makes an elegant base for exploring the villages, cellars, and culinary traditions of the Côte de Nuits.

@lescimesbleues -La Baule-Escoublac

A new take on the French seaside hotel is tucked between La Baule’s pine forest and famously long stretch of sand. Les Cimes Bleues gives the resort’s classic balnéaire spirit a distinctly modern, sporty-chic update. by @camrosenstein

Athens: Thanks to The Odyssey, Athens and Greece are firmly back on everyone’s minds, with nearly everyone I’ve talked to mentioning a trip next year. But tastemakers have been onto Athens for years, drawn to its incredible food, ancient history, architecture, outdoor markets, and increasingly exciting creative scene.

Menorca: Smaller and quieter than neighboring Mallorca, Menorca oozes sunshine, saltwater hair, and effortless beauty. If you’re looking for slow days by the sea, texture hunting in town, and long al fresco dinners, you’ve found your island.

Sifnos, Serifos, Milos: Get ready for a masterclass in island design, with each destination offering its own distinct take on architecture and style. Sifnos is the place for traditional Greek design, while Serifos leans into quiet luxury with minimalist concrete structures blending into the mountains, and Milos embraces futuristic landscapes, bright colors, and a new wave of creative hotels.

Malta: I can say with 99.9% confidence that people will travel to Malta just for Casa Bonavita. The newly opened hotel has quickly become a star on tastemakers’ Google Maps—whether they’ve just gone or just booked, this will be the place to be and be seen in 2027.

Porto: Wine lovers have long adored Porto, but now design lovers are catching on too. Smaller and more intimate than Lisbon, the city has a distinct visual language—from colorful tiled facades and grand Belle Époque buildings to a growing crop of thoughtful hotels, restaurants, and creative spaces.

@perianthhotel - Athens is having a serious design moment, and Perianth is right at the center of it. Sculptural furniture, bold marble, curated art, and a modernist aesthetic that feels effortlessly cool without trying too hard.

@riviera_menorca - A laid-back take on Mediterranean luxury. Sun-washed interiors, natural textures, soft earthy tones, and that effortless island feeling that makes everything slow down a little. The kind of place that feels beautifully considered without ever feeling over-designed — understated, intimate, and very easy to fall for.

1. Start off strong in the 11th at @kottcafe for a latte, flat white, drip!

2. Walk east to @lapanifacture to get an incredible breakfast on the go, from pain suisse to brioche and more, everyone is sure to find something they like.

3. Next head back west to either walk or take the train to République to get to Canal St. Martin.

4. Canal St. Martin is such a cute area to stroll, shop and have a leisurely day. But today we march on for maximizing purposes. Stop by @buddybuddy if you feel like trying their peanut butter latte and take it one block east to the canal to sit.

5. Time to shop! Right next to the canal is Artazart, a huge art shop with small and large scale prints as well as a plethora of books and a kids section too. I could have probably spent an hour here. Other shops worth checking out are the Veja General Store, A.P.C., and Centre Commercial.

@veja_general_store

6. Next stop: Galerie Dior. Head back to Republique and take the metro west to the 16th - Franklin D. Roosevelt stop. Once you get above ground you’ll be in designer paradise. To get to the Dior museum you’ll have to walk down the beautiful boulevard, maybe some window shopping or real shopping before too.

Note: For @galeriediorparis GET TICKETS IN ADVANCE. This is so important so you don’t have to wait in line for an hour once you arrive. I bought my ticket a month in advance but I think you could probably get it a week or a few days before. I’d recommend allotting an 1-2 hours for your visit, the exhibition is huge and for fashion lovers, you’ll want to take your time.

the 60s shift dress of my dreams

7. After leaving designer heaven, walk across the bridge to Saint Germain-des-Pres. You’ll pass the Invalides, a historic landmark in Paris with a stunning facade. Keep walking until you arrive at @lebonmarcherivegauche . If you’be already done lots of walking, you may opt for taking the metro or an uber.

8. Time for some retail therapy at one of the best department stores in the world! Check out their beach store activation on the ground level and if you’ve seen the @callitbyyourname bag, head to the second floor to see and buy it in person.

9. Head to @shana___paris ne taken in Paris, France by @camrosenstein

THE PERFECT DAY TRIP FROM MARSEILLE: ARLES, FRANCE!

1. Start by strolling to Le Sauvage for a croissant or brioche. They don’t have indoor seating but an adorable outdoor standing space courtyard situation. Arles is full of hidden corners and beautiful courtyards!
2. Next head to Octo for some retail therapy! If you’re in the market for a new perfume, you’re sure to find one here. Octo has a great selection of unique French designers and perfumers as well as other European brands.
3. Continue to stroll the streets, there are so many art galleries and independent boutiques. Look how cute this hat shop was! I also met a really nice couple who own and operate an Airbnb as well as a boutique with handwoven pieces like the wall hanging. They recently got back from Japan so their newest collection was inspired from their trip.
4. Next check out Foundation Van Gogh to learn about Van Gogh’s time in Arles as well as experience a stunning exhibition on artists who dared to go against the grain - the result - highly coveted and saught after work (as they should be!).
5. Don’t miss the Louis Vuitton Guide Bookshop and Coffee Shop. They have a large selection of branded guidebooks as well as large format books on travel, cooking, fashion and more. Plus, they have a coffee shop with outdoor seating to enjoy some people watching.
6. Note: Arles had 2 great pharmacies if you’re looking to pick up some French goodies!

And that’s it - but I know there is a lot more I could have covered, Arles is such a great day trip from Marseille! If you have the time, don’t sleep on it! taken in Arles, France by @camrosenstein

The perfect first day in Provence with @espeeria

1. Check out the produce and food market in Aix-en-Provence.
2. While many shops are closed on Sunday, there are street vendors and also some small boutiques open until 1:30.
3. Stop for a leisurely lunch in your own secret garden at Le Ramus or Erev in Aix-en-Provence. Obviously had to take a selfie in the bathroom for good measure.
4. Head back to your hotel for a dip in the pool. We stayed at Au Ralenti du Lierre, and I couldn’t recommend this b&b more! They have a lovely breakfast, a spa and multiple spaces to enjoy the outdoors. Plus, the staff was so kind and lovely.
5. Take a short drive to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorge for a beautiful canal side dinner. Before dinner, make sure to walk through the side streets to discover its beauty. Don’t forget an impromptu photoshoot with friends!
6. Bon appetite! Sit down at Au Chineur for a delicious meal - get the pork ribs! Take a long dinner with friends enjoying the atmosphere but most importantly each other’s company.
7. And you can’t skip dessert. The chantilly addition is a must.
8. Bon-soirée!

Loved my stay at @bardelareleve à la chambre verte! From the comfy bed, to beautiful tall windows, luxipripus bathroom and probencal decor, what more could you want. Oh wait there’s more, you’re smack dab in one of the best locations, 8 minute walk to the beach, 15 minute walk to the city center, and 20 minutes to Malmousque. Plus, you have @sepia13007, @lecailleriemarseille, and @zinzin_cantine_marseille right around the corner! taken in Bar La Relève by @camrosenstein
