Two years ago we lost you and the world kept turning even though mine felt like it stopped. Two years of wishing you were here. Two years of carrying your love and memory with me. Two years of wishing I could just talk to you. I’ve learned that grief doesn’t mean forgetting but learning how to carry someone you love with you in a different way. You left a bigger mark on my life than you’ll ever know and I wish you could see the person I’m becoming and know that it has everything to do with you. I will never let today become just another day, because it will always be your special day. Happy Birthday in Heaven to my favourite person.🤍 I love you and miss you so much Cedy, my sweet boy. I wish time was kind to you. Some souls are too beautiful for this world, so they leave, though I miss you so much. I know God has you in his arms and you’ll forever remain in my heart.

As long as I am here, you will be too. In the stories I tell, in the way I say your name, and in the way I live my life with the love you left behind.
