Congratulations to Cameron Leslie and Zoe Pedersen who have been named as a finalists for the 63rd ISPS Handa Halberg Awards.

Leslie is a finalist in the ISPS Handa Para Athlete / Para Team of the Year category, after earning two silver medals at the World Para Swimming Championships in Singapore earlier this year.

Pedersen is a finalist in the Sky Sport Emerging Talent category, having won the world junior title in the women's 50m butterfly at the World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships earlier this year, just a few weeks after making her Aquablack debut. Pedersen is also a youth world record holder in surf lifesaving.

The 63rd ISPS Handa Halberg Awards ceremony will be held on 16 February 2026. by @camtron1990

Congratulations to Cameron Leslie on winning Māori Para Athlete of the Year at the Māori Sports Awards over the weekend.

The award is a testament to Leslie's outstanding year in the pool, where he secured two silvers at the 2025 World Para Swimming Championships!

We all know @camtron1990 can swim fast and dominate on the wheelchair rugby court… But nobody told us he was a part time runway model too!
We were pumped to build Cam’s new Rhino for Oceania’s 🔥
Loyal to Melrose since his first go at wheelchair rugby back in 2007 and still out here levelling up.

💥 Huge shoutout to our legend Cameron Leslie — bringing home 2x silver medals from the World Para Swimming Championships! 🌍🥈🥈

One of those medals was milliseconds off gold… 😱 That’s next level.

Cam’s proof that hard work pays off — and it looks like all that weight training is clearly doing the trick 💪🔥

Beyond the medals though, Cam’s the kind of guy who leads by example — always encouraging others to make no excuses and get involved in physical activity, no matter what.

We couldn’t be prouder to have him as part of the Smart Active family 👏
