1st test on 16mm on kodok vision 3 film, developed at the negative space film lab @preservefilmThe camera used is a Canon Scoopic 16 mThis was just for funzies, uncontrolled environment, just shooting aroundAll clips are 250D3rd clip is 250D but with an orange filter applied. Usually used for color correcting tungsten film outside, I just wanted to see what it looked like on 250D. Wanted to comment on some of the filters we used for the BMF music video by @ajmcqueen I had never used filters like these before so it was really fun trying them out and seeing what I liked/disliked.The first 2 slides are using a split diopter which essentially splits the focus of your lens(correct me if I'm wrong about that explanation) I really liked how it turned out. One thing I noticed while using this filter was a reflection of AJ that kept coming in out of the lens. My assumption is that the filter and lens are reflecting the light on to each which is causing the weird reflection into the lend. If any of my DP or Gaffer peeps know what the cause of this is please let me know so I can avoid it next time.The next 2 slides are using the ghost filter which has this really cool "ghosting effect " that is kinda replicating a slow shutter/long exposure. Holding the glass in different ways can change the effect to be more horizontal or vertical, pretty fun to play around with.The cool thing is that theres no right or wrong way to use these filters, its more of a vibe/feeling kinda thing.Shout out to @hensbread for supplying the filterd for the shoot.Filters by @prismlensfx by @camxgordon
