Them That’s Not was a film I did back in March of last year and it is the piece of art I am most proud of. The reactions, the love, and the community this film has brought me has been incredible and has opened my eyes to a whole world of possibilities that I thought were just dreams I would have, but never actually accomplish. About a year ago, my wonderful friend Connor reached out to me to finally start the production of a podcast we had been thinking about since our college days, three years earlier. After numerous failed attempts, countless hours of coordination, and some crazy team building, I’m incredibly proud to present Episode 1 of *Welcome to the Brass Eagle*—a fantasy fiction podcast centered around a magical, transporting tavern.

This project has been unlike any other I’ve worked on, with intricate design work and an incredible attention to detail. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to our amazing sound team, whose hard work helped bring this vision to life. Special thanks also go to our talented voice actors and our producer, Michael—none of this would have been possible without your dedication and support.

We’re thrilled to share the first episode with you, but there are still nine more episodes that we’re wanting to bring to life. To do that, we need your support. This one was a special one.

Sound played a big role in bringing the worlds of Travis Scott and Carlos Alcaraz together.

Around 95% of what you hear was recorded specifically for the film, then cut, manipulated, layered and crafted from scratch. Taking real textures, movement, impact and breath and shaping them into something that could carry us through the film.

@candace.n.m was our Foley artist and sound designer.
Collaborated w @okanncam to design the synth rise that helps push the film into another gear.

The final mix was hands on with the chefs Nate Richards and Macaihah.
