My sweet Tobey — there are no words to adequately describe the bond that we shared. My heart has shattered to a million little pieces since having to lay you to rest.

You and I met during Christmas of 2008. I was only 16 years old and from then we lived so many chapters of life together. I feel so selfish wishing you could live with me forever but I’m grateful for all of the memories that we have together.

I’ll miss your kisses on my leg as I walk in the door from work

I’ll miss your little old man snore as we sleep through the night

I’ll miss the sassy sneezes even though everyone insisted they were real.

I’ll miss finding you all snuggled up on any random duffel bag or piece of clothing

I’ll miss your face lighting up when I walked into any room you were in

I dread the day I no longer find your hair on any of my clothes

My heart is hurting so much right now but I can’t stop thinking of how much life we all got to live with you. I never knew such a tiny dog could love so big and how lucky am I to have been loved by YOU!

I love you forever Bubs! Until we meet again! 💙
