Horaire

Rassemblement & Marché

🕕 14h30
📍Parc Minto

As a trusted selector, community supporter, and creative force, SEIIIZI continues to push boundaries and connect global soundscapes to local dancefloors — embodying the spirit of curiosity

Omari B Johnson is known for his hot, fierce, and undeniably smooth moves across Ottawa’s drag king scene.

He’s been setting stages on fire for over 6 years in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, and Calgary. Crowned Ottawa’s Mr. Capital Pride 2023, Omari is also the creator and co-producer of the monthly Capital Kingdom Drag King show in Ottawa. He proudly uses his platform to uplift and champion BIPOC, queer, and drag communities.

Watch out, folks—Omari doesn’t just perform, he turns up the heat, leaving you breathless and feeling things you didn’t even know you could feel. 🔥👑

Hannah Vig has made a name for herself as Ottawa’s sensitive, sapphic, singer-songwriter since her debut in 2022. Known for both her intimate and emotive solo acoustic performances and high-energy full band performances, Vig’s indie folk-pop-rock melodies, soulful voice and hard-hitting lyrics are known to captivate listeners.

Just hatched out of the proverbial egg, C4ND4 Is tending to old sounds of bedroom dreamy and RnB beats, sprinkled in cosmic dust, carried by their cajon! C4ND4, Breaks the mold of whatever body they choose to present in for the day, but always blends joy, care, and a lot of fun. Performing at the Dyke March as a queer-burundian is a love letter from the ancestors who fought tirelessly to just be. It reminds us that it is always OK to taken in Minto Park by @candahab

Found dialogues entry #1004 : They don’t know what a prostitute is I fear? And the subject is pretty much illiterate. It seems like they’ve put themselves in a situation where they hate themselves. Constantly tossed around by @candahab

Our show has come to close, and we'd like to give thanks to everyone in the community who made this possible! 🎭

Thank you to everyone who came out to see Umugisha at the Ottawa Fringe Festival, spread the word, or sent words of encouragement our way.

If you were unable to make it and are able to make a monetary donation, our GoFundMe is linked in our bio. Everything helps! (Making art is expensive lmao)

Keep creating! 🪘🌱⏰🎵🇧🇮🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️ by @candahab
