Happy heavenly birthday, Mama. 🕊️
This time last year, we celebrated your birthday for the last time, surrounded by your closest family and friends as a few days later you would gently make your way to the other side.
I hope you felt all the love around you, even if you couldn’t be awake with us.

Rediscovering peace through yoga and movement these days💫
After my mom’s passing, I found myself in constant fight-or-flight mode- more like freeze.

The past few months I’ve been prioritizing nervous system healing. Each breath and movement brings me closer to balance and calm.

Losing both of you in the same year is something that will take a while to process. 💔

My beautiful mom who was on welfare with three young girls (I was 2) and worked her entire life to provide us with all we now have ❤️ That is the epitome of who she was. Gave her all for others.

My Pa who was like a father figure to me (my moms dad) who lived with us until I moved out for the first time. (He passed in March)

My only comfort is you are both now out of any pain, and back with Granny. I hope you are playing rummy, drinking tea and watching down proud of us all.
