A reminder, and affirmations for myself and those listening.

I am Sienna Guerrero. I am Tekpachikuauhtli. Not everyone will be able to say it, nor will many understand the meaning. That is how it is meant to be. I share with those who embrace the information. I’ll share this publicly instead,

I am a warrior, I come from matriarchs and strong women who endured much more than they should ever have. I am proudly Nahua, Indigenous Mexican. I am proudly the daughter of migrant workers. I am proudly the descendant of resilient ancestors and will be the voice of those who couldn’t speak. The voice of other oppressed races and marginalized communities in the way I can be as well. I firmly believe in the liberation and rights of all peoples, all Indigenous people in the Americas and throughout the world. This wholeheartedly includes Palestine.

I will continue to dedicate my blood, my flesh, my energy, and my heart to my culture and leaving myself receptive of all others around me in this world. I pray and send smoke that someday the reality will have relieved those suffering of the horrors, genocide, silencing, and oppression many face. I give thanks to the unity of all nations and tribes to the continued dedication of stewardship, conservation of the sacred, and fight for the land.

Let it be known I do not tolerate hate, vitriol, or disrespect on my page about myself or other entire communities mentioned. I have grown, will continue to, and will remain receptive to those around me and stay aware. With this being said, I also more than ever will continue to enforce my boundaries for my peace and healing. This is a safe space, always. But come respectful, and be respected.

I have the protection of my ancestors, deities, and loved ones. If you hold hate and ill intent, you do not have access to me. I wish the same of all others who may be in harms way on every kind of level.

Despite the pain I’ve been through and how much I’ve been wronged, I love people. I love this Earth and the creatures we share it with. People as a whole are not a disease, only colonizers are.

Tlazocamati.
