A new chapter is on the horizon in Dana Point. 🌊

We’re excited to share plans for the transformation of our client, Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa, into The Ocean Cliffs at Dana Point, a JW Marriott Resort.

Perched above Dana Point Harbor for nearly four decades, the landmark property is preparing for a thoughtful reimagination inspired by its coastal setting. Plans include a new resort pool, a signature chef-driven restaurant, refreshed guestrooms and expanded spaces for weddings, events and gatherings.

We can’t wait to share more as this Southern California icon enters its next era. ✨

Meet Christina McGoldrick, Account Director at C&R Public Relations ✨

Christina is a creative strategist who is passionate about leveraging data, consumer trends and clever storytelling to position clients as trendsetters and industry leaders.

When she’s not building a PR plan, Christina loves hiking, cooking for friends, camping, hunting for vintage band tees and bomber jackets, and turning people into chihuahua stans thanks to her sidekick, Chili 🐾. Her favorite place she’s ever visited is Rome, while Scotland and Imsouane, Morocco (home to one of the longest and most consistent right-hand surf breaks in the world) are at the top of her bucket list.

Fun Fact: Christina learned to surf at 30 and won a blue ribbon for her Key Lime Pie recipe 🏄‍♀️🥧 by @candrpr

Nauka Golf Club takes the spotlight on PGA.com ⛳

In his latest Course Spotlight for @pga , @ryguy0722 goes inside the new Tom Fazio-designed course in Riviera Nayarit. It spans nearly 1000 acres of old-growth jungle, volcanic cliffs and mangrove estuaries along Mexico’s Pacific coast.

The centerpiece is a signature three-hole oceanfront stretch at holes 14, 15 and 16. Set on a narrow strip between the Pacific and a natural estuary, the holes sit just above sea level, and the beach itself is in play. As Director of Golf Shawn Cox tells PGA, “There’s really nothing like them in the world.”

Set to make its waterfront debut in 2029, the 25-story tower will introduce 193 residences with sweeping views of Clear Lake and the Atlantic Ocean, complemented by an extensive collection of amenities spanning wellness, dining, recreation and more.

Meet Olivia Stein, Account Executive at C&R Public Relations ✨

Based in our Los Angeles office, Olivia leads media relations and day-to-day campaign execution for travel clients, leveraging her background in wine PR and passion for food, wine, and hospitality to tell the stories of the people, places and experiences that bring a destination to life.

Outside of work, Olivia loves swimming in the ocean, hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains and exploring LA’s food scene with friends. Her bucket-list destinations include Sardinia, Riviera Nayarit, and anywhere along the California coast. ✈️🌊
