Okay but… detachable piñatas might be my favorite thing ever 🥹💖

Now you can keep the front as a cute little keepsake AND still enjoy the fun of breaking the piñata!🎉

Because some designs are just too pretty to completely destroy 💖🎀

Would you keep it or smash it? 🎁💥

A classic…with a little Candyful touch ✨

I got to make this traditional star piñata for a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, and I knew right away I wanted to go all out with the bright colors, the flowers, the streamers… todo! 😍 🪅

Getting to celebrate our culture through something I love creating made this one even more special 🥰💜

Did you grow up having piñatas at your celebrations? 🥳

Last year for Hispanic Heritage Month, I brought Frida Kahlo to life… piñata style! 🌸💃🏻🪅

This was such a special one to create, and somehow I never shared the process. So qué mejor momento than Hispanic Heritage Month to finally show you how she came together. 💜✨

And now the question is… who should I piñata-fy this year? 👀

A piñata you don’t have to say goodbye to. 🥹💜

This Buzz has a little sorpresa 👀. The front completely detaches, turning part of the piñata into a keepsake you can enjoy long after the party is over. 🚀✨

Because sometimes the memories are worth keeping. 💜

To infinity… and beyond! 🚀💜

40 inches of Buzz Lightyear… handmade from cardboard. 🚀🤯

This one was a PROJECT 😂 but watching him come together piece by piece made it so worth it.

And yes, that front comes OFF! 👀 It’s a detachable keepsake that can live on after the party. 💜

So you can party now, and have some wall art for later!✨💜

It’s “just a mini piñata”… until you see how it’s made. 👀🕷️

From the first piece of cardboard to the final web details, here’s a little look at how he came together. ✨

It’s the little details that bring it all together. 🥹💙

From making the tiny pom-pom on his party hat 🎉 to layering every piece of his face and putting that birthday cake together, so much goes into the details you might only notice for a second in the finished piñata.

Pero esos detallitos are usually my favourite parts to make. ✂️✨

Now that you’ve had a closer look… did you catch them all? 👀

Same Stitch…but I’ve learned a few things since the last one. 👀💙

One of my favourite things about being a piñata artist is realizing there’s ALWAYS something new to learn.

I’ve been taking classes, practicing new techniques, and finding little ways to improve my work with every piñata I make. This time, I got to put some of that into practice. From adding more dimension to Stitch’s face to giving the whole piñata a cleaner finish. ✨

I’m really proud of how this one came together. 🥰

Now tell me… can you see the glow-up? 👀👇

Had to improvise a little with this one 🥟✨

I couldn’t find glitter crepe paper, so I decided to try glitter tissue paper instead… and Me Encantó the sparkle it gave this cute little dumpling piñata! ✨💜

I also added some extra dimension to the front to give it that rounded dumpling look before adding the fringe.

It’s all in the little details! 💖
