I take my comedy seriously. Even though it’s a hobby. Let me introduce myself. These are my aspirations not a thing I think I’ve got in the bag.

I felt it would help to write out a mission statement for myself for what my comedy is about. Then decided accountability is key so I’ll share it.

If you’re asking why do the slides look like shit? Because AI wasn’t involved and I’m not a graphic designer. by @candys_comedy

This stuff is tricky. But being kind is better comedy. Lazy comedy takes shortcuts. Bad jokes don’t mean you’re a bad person but if you are always hurting people with your jokes, wouldn’t you want to know?

Thanks to @strangethepoet I think she said something about using people laughs in our discussions so I think it’s a credit to her and her genius. ❤️

Edit: I had example clips but it got blocked. So apply these to jokes yourself lol.

Context: I’m a data engineer in the daytime. Have experience handling sensitive data.

I do standup comedy for fun. But I’ve noticed not all places feel welcome and safe for everyone. Even places that might be trying to.

I’m a mom who cares about you. I want everyone safe. Both physically and psychologically.
