This pretty thing just arrived… 🏆✨ My first EMMY.
Grateful is an understatement.

🌿thank you Roxrite for putting my name forward for the statistician role.🙏🏽

For years, I’ve been tracking professional breakers as a commentator and researcher—
first with @floorbeingz, then with @stanceelements, the Olympic Channel, and eventually NBC Sports.

This Emmy represents all of that… and so much more.
I had the honor of working the @parisolympics @_breakingforgold live broadcast with the legends @kiddavid & @ronnie_ff — a full-circle moment in every way.

After this historic debut, I’ve been offered a 2-year contract to continue as a commentator across other sports. 🏅✨
The work, the research, the relationships—it all matters.

Be present. A year ago, I couldn’t walk. Today, I’m walking convention halls, judging athletic competitions, sneaking in a little top rock, and doing what I love. Never underestimate what can change in a year. Healing takes time, but every step forward matters. ❤️

What an honor it was to judge @aaubreaking in its second year as an official AAU Junior Olympic Games sport and witness the debut of @aauhiphop ✨
Seeing young dancers proudly represent themselves, their schools, and their teams reminded me why investing in youth matters so much.

These days wasn’t just about judging. It was about community.

Great conversations. Shared meals. Exploring the city. Unexpected karaoke nights. “Weekend on a Wednesday” Reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones who share a love for this culture.

I’m especially grateful to the AAU organizers, volunteers, media team, DJs, MCs, coaches, judges, and everyone working behind the scenes to continue creating opportunities for Breaking to grow in spaces like AAU. Thank you for creating opportunities for young dancers to shine and for preserving and expanding our culture for future generations.

Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of it.

🌱 Sending daily encouragement to whomever this reaches: Don’t wait for a special occasion to gather around the table. Some of the most meaningful moments in life happen over a meal with the people you love. ❤️

Switzerland 🇨🇭 you fed both our hearts and our bellies🇨🇭🥖🍦 From Basel to Küttigen and Aarau, across the mountain passes, through Ticino, Lugano, and the beautiful Verzasca Valley, we experienced incredible food and hospitality. Fresh bread (always my favorite) 🥖, gelato, and local dishes filled our days, and I embraced my favorite way to travel, staying open, trying what is offered, and trusting the chef. Many of our meals were lovingly prepared by friends and family, and I’m deeply grateful for every invitation and every table we gathered around.

One of the most meaningful parts of this trip was sharing those meals with my in-laws, hubby and our little one. The unhurried moments spent talking, laughing, and simply being present together are the memories I hold closest.

Food is so much more than nourishment, it’s love, culture, hospitality, and connection. May we never become too busy to sit together, share a meal, and appreciate the people across the table. Those moments often become the ones we remember forever. Thank you 🙏🏾 ✨ taken in Switzerland by @candywellness_

🌱 Sending daily encouragement to whomever this reaches: Choose someone who is willing to grow with you. A healthy marriage isn’t built by two perfect people🌱it’s built by two people who keep choosing each other, especially through life’s hardest seasons. 🌸

This trip to Switzerland was more than a vacation✨it was a reminder of how blessed we are.

Ten years together. Eight years married. Looking back at where we started, I’m so grateful for the life we’ve built. Marriage has taught me so much about capacity💛 our capacity to love deeper, forgive quicker, communicate better, and become more than we could have on our own.

Thank you to my amazing in-laws for welcoming us with so much love and making this trip unforgettable.

Celebrating Giselle’s birthday with her grandfather, reconnecting with lifelong friends, and hiking the beautiful BoBosco Trail in the Verzasca Valley filled my heart in ways I can’t fully describe.

The 6 km hike was especially meaningful. After everything my body has been through, being able to walk those mountains reminded me that healing is possible. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come. ❤️‍🩹

Here’s to love that grows, families that gather, bodies that heal, and memories that remind us what truly matters.
