Had a really amazing opportunity to wrap the Astrovan for the Artemis ii Astronauts in collaboration with supporting the COMET contract! This was completely out of the blue and a really memorable project to get to work on!

This wasn’t done alone though. Removal of old wrap by @anastasiallima and myself, Print work was provided by @candywrapsllc and installation was assisted by @floridavehiclewraps to get this done for their timeline!

I hope to be able to do future work with them, but for now this is a huge milestone for me as an installer! taken in Guardian Wraps by @candywrapsllc

Frida Kahlo was a groundbreaking Mexican artist known for her bold, deeply personal self-portraits that explored identity, pain, culture, and womanhood. Working in the early 20th century, when the art world was dominated by men, she defied expectations by centering her own experiences, including disability, heartbreak, and Mexican heritage, in her work. Associated with Surrealism yet fiercely independent, Kahlo challenged traditional standards of beauty and gender roles. Her fearless self-expression and confident perspective have made her a lasting feminist icon and a trailblazer for women in art.
