I had so much to say but honestly, all that I feel is, I should've taken more pictures when I had you.

2. Building business and creating for the Deep Creek community with my brothers from Levels Investment Group.

3. Nephew/son at his High School Graduation dinner.

4. Vintage babies at VA beach.

5. Quick getaway weekend to see my bookies for brunch with my cuz @skyes_the_limit18 , visiting my sis @mandi_x_ , my boo's 40th birthday celebration @mrsali , and my lil baby @skylar_emaniii graduation party with @cruel_tee . Doing a lil mukbang on some delicious-ass food and driving home.

6. Korean BBQ & K-Pot for Honey B's @meltedkrayonz birthday.

It's not summer yet, but North Myrtle Beach is one of our favorites, so what better week to go than Mother's Day weekend, leading up to our anniversary.

I really miss the beach. Growing up so close to Virginia Beach, I feel I didn't take advantage of it as much as I should have. For me, walking through the sand and water is like grounding and reconnecting to earth. I feel it's necessary for me to reset and realign myself with my goals. My family loves the beach too so we try to make a trip every year.

This year, I re-lived searching for sand crabs with my sons. This was something my brother and I would do on the beach every summer, so it was definitely nostalgic, introducing that to my boys. The hubs and I shared a nice wine tasting in celebration of a beautiful 13 years together, and the full week was a necessary break for our family.

Hopefully, we'll make more beach trips this summer, but so far, taking these MB vacays, right as spring is coming to an end, sets our family up for a fun and busy summer break.

One thing that post partum will do is make you forget who you are. You become so extremely focused on the children you created that you neglect yourself. You avoid looking in the mirror because you “think” you don’t like what you see.
Then you start taking small steps to find yourself again. You begin eating better and exercising more. Your creativity starts to flow again and when you finally look in the mirror, you realize that it wasn’t that you didn’t like what you saw, but that your soul was constantly reminding you of who you are, and you just weren’t ready to evolve.

I’ve been gazing in the mirror more these days. I love how my growth looks on me. I love every bit of my flaws and my own smile warms my heart. It’s hard to explain, but I had to start caring and stop caring at the same time.
I had to start caring about myself, and stop caring about what others thought. I had to love on me just a little more, and ignore anyone who wasn’t doing the same.

I’m back to minding my energy and it feels like sunshine☀️
Giving myself grace and applying pressure because learning this balance is the best way to enjoy life. ✨. And if you took the time to read this I love you. May the stars always align in your favor, and you never step on a Lego or get peppermint soap in your eye.☺️🙏🏾

Exactly one month ago, we experienced one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to/apart of. From the attention to detail to the views to the people that were in attendance, everything was so perfectly placed together and we had the most amazing time! Thank you @tifflhoward and @jthowardesigns for sharing the experience of this immaculate week with us!!! The vibes were unmatched and now Zihuatanejo is a city close to our hearts!💕
