🎞️ This summer my friends and I drove my first car Davina from Cornwall to Kazakhstan..

My noble steed that once had a quiet life pootling to the shops and back with the old lady that used to own her (called Davina) just survived 15 countries with us and our stuff crammed inside. Over a quarter of the circumference of earth on some of the best and worst roads in the world.

It’s still quite hard to comprehend the 7 weeks and 8500 miles let alone sum them up in one caption. Safe to say it was nothing short of an absolute rollercoaster, full of both extreme challenges and some of the best days of our lives. An incredible experience that’s left me with lifelong memories I’m grateful to share with 3 of my best friends. This series of photos barely does it justice!

I have a mountain of footage to go through to better encapsulate the trip into a film but until then I want to thank all the people who helped us along the way and welcomed us into their countries with open arms. To all our friends from the road you’re all legends you know who you are. To @beccakbaker for her support and putting up with me obsessing pre trip for months. The @mongolrallyofficial for organising and incentivising something incredible. All the sponsors and supporters of the trip (listed below!) TRULUCK - One Man’s Quest to Connect Others with Orcas
Now live, link in bio!

We filmed this back in 2021 when we had no idea how to even begin making a documentary film. But I’m so glad we did, what an incredible experience it’s been. We learnt so much and met loads of amazing people.

We hope that this film is a reminder not only to get out there and connect with the amazing wildlife and nature on your doorstep, but also to take those risks and pursue your purpose in life - whatever that might be.

On the edge of the Arctic Circle, the shortest and bluest days coincide with mesmerising super pods of orca and humpback whales migrating to the frozen landscapes of Norway.

Last year I met @jackharries and he asked me to quickly put together an update video for his YouTube channel…

8 months later, I found myself deep in the depths of fangirl tumblr, certain that I’d looked at his face more than his own mother.

After wading through countless hours of footage on old harddrives, going back in time through internet history and even creating a set of his old bedroom, we’ve made a 30min long YouTube documentary that aims to make sense of Jack’s rollercoaster of a story.

It’s been one hell of process but a lot of fun putting this together and a full circle moment for me, as watching Jack & Finn’s videos back in the day inspired me to start making my own films. Thank you so much Jack, for your patience and trust in me to help tell your story!

On our last day as the light was fading this dream encounter happened! Incredibly humbling and unforgettable experience to cruise alongside at least 20 of these gentle giants!

**To anyone who is looking to visit the area to whale watch, please seek out an ethical guide. Unfortunately the regulations are loose and there are far too many boats that get too close, drive too fast and disturb the animals.

New super short film out on YouTube! Link in bio. Shot entirely at blue hour in northern Norway 🐋

Last winter I was incredibly lucky to experience the migration of orca and humpback whales with @stevetruluckatsea and some friends. Safe to say it was one of the best experiences of my life. I didn’t have much of a plan with filming other than practice filming wildlife, cinematography and to make a film that captures the anticipation and awe of encountering these amazing beings. Hopefully a small part of the experience is captured in the film!

Above the fjords of Norway 🦅

For me, aerial footage always adds another level of insight to storytelling, revealing the immensity of a scene. It's especially magical when it allows you to witness super pods of orcas and humpbacks from a bird's-eye perspective! The experience of observing these magnificent creatures was unforgettable.

Even though it's not the latest drone on the market, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro still holds its own for photos and videos. As always, @mpbcom is my go to for top-notch second hand gear.

**A reminder to anyone who wants to fly near wildlife to please do so at a safe and respectful distance. Always fly at the height restrictions specific to the animals you are observing to avoid causing any disturbance 🐋
