SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: AUBRIE EISMONT
Our senior, Aubrie, has been a Canonette for three years, and we are proud to have her as a senior Squad Leader this season. Aubrie is very experienced in the performing arts, as she previously attended The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Pennsylvania Ballet Conservatory. She shows great leadership skills and constant drive, not only in Canonettes, but in other academic programs such as the Best Buddies Club, Spanish Club, and the Future Educators Club. She rightfully belongs to the Spanish National Honors Society, National Honors Society, and Lead CM. We cherished sharing Aubrie’s favorite moments with her, as she loved “getting ready before every game with her best friends.” As she is eager to attend the University of Pittsburgh with a dual major in Special Education and Elementary Education, she encourages others to, “Always cherish the little moments because time goes by faster than you realize, and those are the memories you’ll look back on forever. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone, take chances, and enjoy every second because you never know what amazing things are waiting for you.” We love you, Aubrie! by @canonettes

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: MAYA ANDRAE
Our 2026-2027 co-captain Maya Andre has been a core member of canonettes for 4 years. She is a strong dancer, both as a canonette, and as a competitor through Dance With Me By Sisters 3. Maya demonstrates her academic involvement through The National Honors Society, Latin Club, Future Educators Club, Varsity Club, and the Best Buddies Club, and makes an excellent impact on the community through community service and volunteer programs. The highlights of her career as a Big Mac Band performer have been “all of the homecoming football games.” We’re so excited to support Maya as she continues her education at Slippery Rock University for the 3+3 Occupational Therapy and Psychology Program. Maya’s best piece of advice is: “Bond with everyone and work really hard, the friendships can last a lifetime and the efforts will pay off!” We love you, Maya! by @canonettes

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: AUBRIENNA QUARESIMA
Our first senior spotlight goes to one of our truest leaders, Aubrienna! As Aubi celebrates her fourth year as a Canonette, we proudly recognize her as a former Squad Leader of the 2025-2026 season, and a current co-captain. Aubi is known for her selflessness and sense of humor that lights up each room, and she performs with passion that inspires. Outside of Canonettes, Aubi is dedicated to several other clubs and organizations, such as the Best Buddies Club, Future Medical Professionals Club, Spanish Club, The Spanish Honors Society, and The National Honors Society. Her favorite memory over the years was the Virginia trip of 2025. We can’t wait to see Aubi grow, as she goes on to study nursing at West Virginia University or The University of Pittsburgh. Aubi encourages others to, “Be confident in who you are and never let anyone make you feel lesser.” We love you, Aubi! by @canonettes
