“Oh my OGGs” 🎬 I shot this campaign for @loveoggs as DoP, a series of award-winning spots built around one simple moment..that split second, satisfaction after the first bite. OGGs had long been known as “the vegan cake brand” and this brief was to help open the brand up to a wider audience and let the product do the talking without the labels. The idea became “Oh my OGGs” - the genuine, unguarded reaction you can’t fake. Big shout to the team at @catchafireagency for shaping such a tight, playful edit across the full OGGs range. …and seeing the campaign take home an award at @oda_awards was a pretty sweet cherry on top🍒 taken in London, United Kingdom by @cansen.yilmaz

Today I enjoyed my first birthday as a father. I haven’t posted much this past year. Mostly I’ve just been up to life stuff. Real boring to post on socials but the most important things too. Since it’s my birthday I thought I’d share some bits from the past 12 months. 1. 34 today 2. Bought our new home 🏡 3. Had surgery on my knee 🦵 🏥 ⚽️ 4. We added Indie to our family 🐕 5. Baby Jules came into our world 👶🏼 🥰 6. My sleep last night 🤪👶🏼😭 All the while I Iearnt some DIY, and renovated our bedroom, balcony, and Jules’ nursery - can almost consider myself ‘handy’ 🔨 It’s my hope that in a few months I’ll be playing again too 🙏 ⚽️ Thanks for all the birthday messages, Jules may not remember today when he’s older but I certainly will 🥰 taken in Bristol, United Kingdom by @cansen.yilmaz

Some video stills from a shoot with @flyhawknetball just before Christmas. I met @stephessexflyhawk many years ago and since then she has carved her own path representing women’s netball and women’s sport in its entirety 👏 Having kit that fits in the right places and empowers women is far more than just clothing, it’s stuff that drives champions. Glad to be a part of it ⚡️ @londonpulsenetball taken in London, United Kingdom by @cansen.yilmaz

This entire video was generated with AI. My first commercial piece of AI-generated video for @aegisarmouruk — telling their origin story. Aegis are a brand new motorcycle apparel company with a goal of building a community of riders who have accessible, premium protection at their fingertips. To introduce them, we start with the origin of the name. They have a wild imagination, which for me as a filmmaker is the dream brief. The original script was dramatic and epic — but to make it workable I had to scale things back slightly. The idea was to show the history behind the ‘Aegis’ name going back as far as 400AD, with warriors in battle petrifying their opponents while wielding the legendary Medusa shield. Running through it all is the theme of protection and longevity — something that continues in their products today. How was it made? After testing a few models, I found Google Veo 3.1 gave the most realistic results for this style of piece. I generated still images for each scene first and used them as reference frames. From there I built prompts tailored for Veo — all developed inside @chatgpt . After a lot of trial and error (and a bit of colour grading) we started to get some visual consistency across scenes. For the voiceover I used @elevenlabsio , which honestly was incredibly straightforward once the script was refined. We all chase perfection as filmmakers — but I have to admit, some of these scenes genuinely impressed even me 👀 Curious what people think about AI-generated filmmaking like this. Does it make creative ideas more accessible? Or does it risk removing work from our industry? by @cansen.yilmaz

Wilkinson Sword ⚔️ A heritage brand steeped in history, evolving for a new generation. I DoP’d short-form brand films for the launch of @wilkinsonsword new product range, as part of a wider rebrand and refreshed visual identity. Some frames here from the shoot, which involved tight bathrooms and shower spaces whilst finding visual rhythm. This one was a fun creative challenge to bring to life. Big thanks to @filmpunks.tv for having me onboard. director cinematography branded content film video stills taken in London, United Kingdom by @cansen.yilmaz

Hawaiian Tropic ☀️ One of my favourite shoots of late for a household name brand. I directed and DOP’d the branded content day for existing and new product lines for ecom. Lovely on-brand, tonal pastel colour backdrop and some spotlight work for a sun-kissed shoot (in November 😂). It was all about fun in the sun whilst protecting your skin (whatever colour or complexion). Body confidence was paramount and so spending plenty of time with the talent was key to getting comfortable under the lights. Really happy with the execution here and the alignment of the moving image with HT’s brand identity. Shout to @filmpunks.tv for having me on this taken in London, United Kingdom by @cansen.yilmaz
