Why choose just one way to bring in the light?

From above, from the side and straight out to the garden, different forms of glazing work together to transform one space.

Old stone, warm light, and a little glass in between. 🍂

At St Ethelburga’s Centre, contemporary glazing sits quietly within the historic architecture, allowing the character of the original building to take centre stage.

Not your average rooflight.

Following the geometry of the space, this zigzag roof glazing at Oakford Road proves there’s more than one way to look up.

The nights may be drawing in, but that doesn’t mean your home has to.

As daylight fades earlier, glazing takes on a different role. What brings daylight into a home by day allows warmth and light to radiate out after dark.

The Creamery | Dezeen Awards 2026

From 4,300+ entries across 91 countries, The Creamery has been shortlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2026.

One of just 19 architecture projects shortlisted this year.

When we first began work on the former milk factory in Castle Cary, the brief was simple: 1912 or invisible.

More than a century of extensions and alterations had accumulated around the original creamery. The project involved peeling back those layers, restoring what remained and carefully introducing the new - creating a working cheesemaking facility, café and shop around the original 1912 factory and chimney.

A lovely piece of recognition for a project that involved a lot of recording, dismantling, rebuilding, restoring and problem-solving along the way.

Thank you to the brilliant client, consultants, makers and construction team who helped bring The Creamery back to life.

Winners are announced at the Royal Opera House in London on 16 November.

Fingers crossed.

Not quite ready to close the door on summer.

Neither is this space.

Open to the garden when the sun is shining. Cosy inside when it isn’t. The best of both seasons.
