S’lach Lanu — forgive us.

As we prepare for the High Holy Days, we’re reminded to look inward, ask forgiveness for the hurt we’ve caused, and make peace with those who have hurt us.

I’ll be honest… there are people who have deeply hurt me and my family. People I hope, but don’t expect, will ever say, “I’m sorry.”

But I’m choosing peace, healing, and forgiveness—even when the apology never comes.

Forgive us G-d!

Sometimes life gives you exactly what you need. ❤️

An unplugged Shabbat filled with singing, praying, laughing, and new friends who already feel like old friends.

For 30 minutes, no sadness. Just joy, friendship, and being unapologetically proud Jews together.

Thank you @sethrudetsky for this wonderful Shabbat together. Praying, laughing and having fun with the @jewishbwayalliance.

Shana Tova!

This is the first year I didn’t sing from a bimah but I experienced something more meaningful, I was a Jew in the pew. ❤️

Kol Nidre (my favorite service) at Maddie’s old school with my dear friend and colleagues Cantor @btbrccantor and Rabbi @rabbiedfarber was incredibly meaningful.
No instruments. Just voices, an incredible six-person men’s choir that sounded like angels and a powerful sermon on the "sound of silence."

Sometimes we lead the prayer. Sometimes we simply listen.

And this year , listening was such a gift. ❤️

With Yom Kippur just days away, Shabbat Shuvah feels especially personal to me. ❤️

I’ve been working on this special project, bringing together some of my favorite moments doing what I love most — being a Cantor.

The beautiful prayer you hear is “Adonai S’fatai,” composed by my incredibly talented friend and colleague, Cantor @joshgmusic These words remind us that as we approach Yom Kippur, we are called to open not only our lips, but our hearts and souls.

There is something deeply moving about singing these words at this time of year — reflecting on where we’ve been, where we are, and who we hope to become.

May this Shabbat give us a moment to pause, reflect, return, and open our hearts to what truly matters.

My heart is so full. Beginning the new year surrounded by family, my parents & their dear friends.

As we enter Shabbat and Selichot, I wanted to share this recording of "Avinu Malkeinu."

My prayer for all of us is to return to our truest selves, while becoming a 2.0 version of who we are. Wiser, stronger, shaped by what we’ve been through, but still rooted in the same foundation.

May we always find our way back home. 🤍
