Hello! Back in the early 80s, with no name decided, my dad & pregnant mom went to see "Rocky" in the theater and were instantly inspired when "Talia Shire" popped up in the credits. It was that fateful decision that would also be my namesake, as "Talia" is one of the Greek muses of the Arts and also the name of "Sleeping Beauty" in the original Italian fairytale (a story that would forever fuel my passion for love stories, painting & music!)
It is a pleasure and honor to say I've been working in the arts now for the past 20 years (am I that old!? 🤪)
✨️My aim as your Live Wedding Painter is to capture the "feel" and "romance" of your most special day.
✨️I'm most inspired by the Impressionist artists, my travels abroad, classical music, dance, song, color and fashion.
✨️When I'm not painting, you can find me planning my next trip, devouring a book or a delicious meal, soaking up the sea, gardening in my farm or enjoying the sweet art of nothingness with my loved ones.
✨️I give all the glory to God for what I do and I'm so blessed to be able to share it with all of you!
Cheers! 🥂💖🎨 TALIA

Always a pleasure to be back at the idyllic @villa_woodbine 🌿, this time to paint
"Watercolor Guest Portraits".
The bride had a romantic vision for her intimate wedding; soft pastels, Bridgerton-vibes & personal touches like these mini art takeaways.
As always, it was a total crowd pleaser and the guests couldn't have been more lovely, patient & appreciative of their portraits!!
Cheers to the couple, who like their guests were just THE SWEETEST!! 👰‍♀🥂🤵

✨️Painted *LIVE at restaurants straight out of art college before I knew Live Painting was a thing.
✨️Opened my own art studio at age 23 and ran it successfully for 15 years!
✨️Got married then decided to paint my own wedding on a whim from a photo a friend gave me.

These three experiences were the top three 🔑 🔑 🔑
that unlocked the wonderful world of Live Wedding Painting for me. They provided me a world of experience as a live artist, a business owner and as a bride wanting to have her most special day captured with brush & paint!!

Two families. One beautiful beginning. 🤍

Some weddings are about two people. This one was about all of them.

A son proudly walking down the aisle at the beautiful Islander Resort. Four of the happiest kids standing witness as the vows were said. And at the end of it all, one big family hug that said everything words couldn’t.

This is why we do what we do.

Congratulations to this beautiful family, your next chapter is going to be a great one. 🥹
