TRI-STATE FAIR RESULTS!!!! Congratulations to the Canyon FFA Horse Judging and Horse Quiz Bowl teams today for their success at the Amarillo Tri-Stare Fair! Brylie Jackson, the district Vice President and Lilli Klose, the Area 1 Secretary facilitated workshops for the students that attended. SUMMER RECAP! Canyon FFA had a amazing summer filled with so many memories. We cannot thank our ag teachers, Mr.Klose, Mr.Fulton and Ms.Rodriguez for making this summer unforgettable. Here’s a few of our summer highlights! -the CFFA 2026-2027 officer team planned out the whole school year at COLT. -June 16th-18th 7 Canyon FFA members attended the Area 1 Leaderhsip conference -On June 20th we held our annual golf scramble to fundraise for the school year. -July 6th-10th Canyon FFA had attended the 98th annual Texas FFA State Convention. Our Teach Ag team (Jerry Sixberry, Brylie Jackson, Lilli Klose and Gunnar McConlouge) placed 4th in the state with Gunnar as the 2nd overall individual. Gunnar McConlouge, Louden McConlouge, Evey McIntosh, Jayla Self and Lilli Klose all received there’s lone star degrees. To round out convention, our very own Louden McConlouge was named the Area 1 Texas FFA State Officer. Louden has worked tirelessly for this role and we are so proud of him. We have no doubt he will represent Texas FFA and Canyon FFA well! -And to round out the summer full of activities, Lilli Klose attended the Texas Farm Bureau Thrive conference! We had an amazing summer and can’t wait to see everyone at c-Rush! by @canyonffa

This past week Canyon FFA members attended the Area 1 Leadership Conference. We learned leaderships skills in workshops, perfected our dancing skills at dances, and even had some fun at Ag-tastics! We would like to recognize our incoming state officer Louden McConlogue and our Area Secretary Lilli Klose for putting on amazing workshops for campers! We would also like to congratulate our very own Simon Sattler for winning a workshop award! Each workshop presenter gives out 2 awards to campers from the whole week for being outstanding in their workshop. Congrats Simon! Brylie Jackson did an amazing job leading the Amarillo District through out the whole week! We are so grateful for the opportunity to go to ALC and can’t wait to go back next year 🎉 by @canyonffa

We want to start by saying congrats to Louden McConlogue, who is Canyon FFA’s 4th ever state officer, and Lilli Klose, who was elected to Area Secretary!
