Stoked to be on the road with my home town boyz out here reppin the city where we’re from. Makes being on the road feel a little more like home. One of the best parts about live music is discovering bands for the first time.

Streaming can give you a sense of whether you’ll like a band, but seeing them live is a totally different experience. There’s an energy on stage that just doesn’t come through your speakers.

Capital Dub recently made their way through Florida on tour with Tunnel Vision and Drifting Roots, and it was one of those sets that reminded us why live music matters.

Hailing from Southern California, they’re a well-rounded band with a solid rhythm section, a frontman who can really sing, and the kind of stage energy that keeps you locked in from start to finish.

Just as much as the music, what stood out was their attitude. They were genuinely great to be around, both on stage and behind the scenes, and that always makes the experience even better.
