Well, an end to the cleanest rally car era.. good note delivery, bad entry line to a loose R4 over crest. Rolled 4.5 times with a 10g impact recorded on rally safe. Ryan and I are ok, we really appreciate all the support from the community, people that reached out and help from all the volunteers. From the organizers, to sweep and medical services that made us feel like we were not alone through this very traumatic event. After 4.5 clean and successful years of rallying, 2 Canadian P4WD championship wins, we finally got bit. (Red arrow is where our broken rim got launched 100+ meters away.. ) Congrats to everyone that finished this years event, conditions were very tricky! by @capital_tuning

Trevor Pougnet & Ryan Rouleau Crowned 2024 CRC Production 4WD Champions!
The 2024 season was a milestone year for @capital_tuning , marked by impressive growth and hard-fought success. Trevor Pougnet and Ryan Rouleau found a new rhythm in their pace notes and dialed in their Subaru’s setup, consistently delivering top-5 overall stage times. Their great speed in a production-class car repeatedly caught open-class competitors off guard, proving that their production Subaru could punch well above its weight.

This good pace gave them to a commanding lead in the Production 4WD championship standings, ultimately securing their title!

However, the season wasn’t without its setbacks. Their aggressive push for performance led to their first career DNF at the @tallpinesrallyofficial , after a broken front control arm sidelined them with no option for a restart.

Pougnet and Rouleau are already gearing up to defend their title in 2025!

La saison 2024 a été une année charnière pour Capital Tuning Motorsports, marquée par une progression impressionnante et des succès durement acquis. Trevor et Ryan ont trouvé un nouveau rythme dans leurs notes et ont bien réglé leur Subaru, réalisant régulièrement des temps dans le top 5 au classement général. Leur vitesse remarquable dans une voiture de la catégorie production a souvent pris de court les concurrents de la classe Open, prouvant que leur Subaru de production pouvait rivaliser bien au-delà de sa catégorie.

Ce rythme soutenu leur a permis de prendre une avance confortable au classement du championnat Production 4RM, leur offrant finalement le titre !

Cependant, la saison n’a pas été sans embûches. Leur quête de performance les a conduits à leur tout premier abandon en carrière lors du Rally of the Tall Pines, après la casse d’un bras de suspension avant, sans possibilité de repartir.

Pougnet et Rouleau se préparent déjà à défendre leur titre en 2025 !

Winning this years Black Bear rally 1st overall and production P1 is proof that nothing beats seat time and experience in this sport. Every event has given us the chance to develop the car and the pace note system we rely on to be able to send it! We had spent a day of note training with the legend @crazyleonet from @race.lab a while back and whatever wizardry he made us realize in our notes is paying dividends. Having a car that is now so dialled and predictable is also very helpful in setting the confidence needed at these new speeds. Can’t wait to see what @rallyedefi has in store for us! Thank you to all the organizers and volunteers, events would be nothing without such committed and generous people. A great drive to kick off the 2024 season @ Rallye Perce Neige last weekend. We have never raced on studs or that much Ice before, so did our best to keep our lines clean while feeling out the setup. Once we got comfortable with the car and the notes we were able to turn it up. Posting a few top 4 stage times in the afternoon and evening of day 2, even taking a stage from the great @antoinelestage which I’m sure will never happen again 🥹 we finished the race 5th overall and Production class P1 but unfortunately we were met at the podiums with a 10min penalty which kicked us down to 9th overall. Still managed to keep the P4wd win! Getting ready for the first round of the @crcrally championship. Follow us on @rallysafe car #17 starting at 6PM! Roads are much different this year, looking like rally of the tall pines out there with a mix of ice and sandy roads. Should be an interesting event! by @capital_tuning
