📕 𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚!The 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙚 has officially arrived.Limited first edition is capped at 500 copies . . . and already, only 200 remain.(30% of the first edition is already sold (150 books!) & 30% Gifted to artists, staff, and community members) The Book of Fringe is the story of building the longest-running and largest theatre festival in the nation’s capital: the grit, chaos, magic, artists, rats, the tents, and our wild ideas that refused to stay small.Part archive, part how-to, part love letter to a DC that was braver than any rulebook. If you’re reading this, chances are you were a part of it. Maybe you built something, performed something, or showed up to see what might happen. Or maybe you’ve wondered how anything this improbable lasted twenty years. However you arrived here, reading this now, you helped shape it. 📫 NOW SHIPPINGhttps://thebookoffringe.com/&🔗 bio An essential read for anyone inspired by D.C.’s culture or frustrated by its costs. This history of Capital Fringe captures how far artists went to carve out space for hard, weird, unsellable art — hard-set against developers and incurious bureaucrats. A testament to how creativity survives against the odds in Washington. — 𝙆𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙨, 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙟𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 by @capitalfringe
