Based in Little Jamaica, Toronto with Grenadian roots, CapoKizzy has been following his passion for music since 2021. Long before stepping into a studio setting, he was already writing songs as a kid.

The music video for his new single, 4AM — a track inspired by a late night sesh and thoughts of a woman he couldn’t get off his mind — is dropping on July 4th. The hook of the track came naturally, and the rest followed from raw emotion and energy.

For CapoKizzy, 4AM marks a turning point in his music career, showcasing a sound that feels more authentic to who he is and where he’s headed next in his journey.

Inspired by his older brother’s bedroom recording sessions growing up, and motivated by artists around him like Luc Belaire, Flakko, and MikeyInTheCut, CapoKizzy chooses to focus on creating music that creates connection.

His longterm goal as an artist is simple: to create music that resonates with people as deeply as it resonates with him.

As the music video for his new track drops on July 4th, CapoKizzy will also be taking the stage at Live Song War being hosted at The Garrison in Toronto.
