As I’ve been studying Hinduism and Indian culture, I have been absolutely captivated by this wealth of wisdom and revelations. All religions have truth and wisdom that can be found in them. I was raised Christian in a Christian family and even went to a private Christian elementary school. That aspect of my childhood will forever be ingrained in my mind. However - I personally do not resonate with Christianity, that isn’t to say it’s wrong, it’s just not for me. I’ve always been drawn to India and Hinduism. And that is where my faith is taking me. I think everyone has a right to choose their own path and their own faith and we should all be respected. “The role and relevance of Hinduism in contemporary society has a great deal to contribute towards the spiritual health of the modern world. Its inherent pluralistic teachings offer the best resolution to how people of different religions can co-exist peacefully in a multi-faith society. Hinduism even allows for spirituality to be explored in non-religious modes, making teachings relevant and interesting for today’s emerging youth. Family values promoted by Hinduism foster stabler family units and better community cohesion.
