Here’s our grand final lineup! What an incredible year we’ve had discovering so much new blood on the scene!

Massive thanks to every single band who was part of the competition - it’s up to us all to keep music live and support grassroots venues and bands. So make sure you drop your fav bands from these shows a follow online, check out their merch, add their music to your playlists and show them some love.

We’ll see many of you at bloodstock for our final roundup of m2tm25 🤘

Wow, last night, what can we say! There wasn’t a single band in the final that didn’t deserve to go through and represent Birmingham at Bloodstock. But this isn’t just about Bloodstock, this is about building a community, supporting independent bands and becoming a family that lifts and supports one another. Our moto has always been collaboration not competition and this year we’ve seen yet another incredible set of events, supported by fans and bands alike. This is what we had our heart set on and it’s down to you all.

A huge congrats to our winners Mantis Defeats Jaguar, official announcements through BOA coming soon. A massive shout out to @dyingaddiction_band , @officialdreamboatemperor , @black_hounds_band , @mountslatra - this is just the beginning for you all and we can’t wait to see where you go next.

Big thanks to last year’s winners and guest headliners Kensei, who are continuously pushing themselves and growing as a band. We are so proud of their journey so far.

We have our official roundup video to come too, but huge thanks has to go to our crew, from the stage, to box office and everyone in between, these people give up their time for free to help run these events. All of the judges who have supported us throughout the competition and special mention to Phil Whitehouse who has not only shot every single event, but has been roped into judging duties on top of it too.

Our videographer from Ironside Studios, who also gives up his time for free to put together our awesome roundups and capture the energy from every night.

Massive thanks to our venues, The Flapper who put up with our rowdy energy for every heat and semi and mama roux’s for hosting our final.

Finally a huge thanks to every single band who was part of the journey and every single fan that came out supported us - without you - the fans - we wouldn’t be able to support the underground and help highlight the incredible independent talent we have.

Roundup coming soon, then a little rest before we’re back with our own festival Quest Fest and then M2TM Brum 2026!

We’ve had a few weeks off since the Semi-Finals, but the Grand Final is almost upon us!

We’d like to introduce our wildcard winners for this year, who ranked the highest from joint judge and crowd votes next to our other winners - @black_hounds_band will officially be joining the lineup as the fifth competing band this year!

This is going to be one of the toughest finals yet with @mountslatra , @mantis_defeats_jaguar , @officialdreatmboatemperor , @dyingaddiction_band also in the running.

Of course we can’t forget our babs in @kenseiband , and last year’s winners will be bringing their magic and entertaining you whilst the judges have a very difficult job of making their decision to pick one band to represent the Birmingham metal scene at Bloodstock Open Air.

Tickets are just £8 and we’ll be hosting the Finals at the iconic Mama Roux’s in Digbeth this year. We can’t wait to see you all!

As we get ready for Semi-Final 1 tomorrow, we are pleased to share with you the lineup for Semi-Final 2.

Special guests of the evening comes from local thrash legends @eradikator_official

Competing in this heat we have @bldsugr @mantis_defeats_jaguar @equinoxband_uk @dyingaddiction_band - unfortunately Orquila have had to pull out of the competition, but after reviewing the audience votes and judges scores from all 5 heats, we’d like to welcome @ionosphere.band to the bill as the next highest scoring band for the comp.

🚨 Beep boop beep boop regular radio show post incoming 🚨

EXCEPT, it isn’t a regular radio show!

Firstly I spoke with the lovely Amie from @capsaarx_studios about Metal To the Masses and the lovely community it’s built in Birmingham ahead of this weeks first round of semi finals!

Secondly on the Midlands Mosh Guarantee, were playing not one, not two but THREE bands who are all on Fridays lineup! Hey, @cherrydeadband @tanddband @mountslatra🔥

Ghost are on the Gateway again with what can only be described as a future arena rock anthem alongside We Came as Romans and Mayday Parade & Knuckle Puck 🎸💀

And M is for MORE METALCORE as Curtis @thirst4violence plays another letter from the Metalcore Alphabet 🖤

Listen as always from 9pm only on @switch_radio 🖤🖤🖤 taken in Birmingham, United Kingdom by @capsaarx_studios
