The peppers are ripening and the #superhothephaestussriracha mash is filling fermentation vessels for this season’s absurdly spicy and delicious sriracha! All of the customers patiently waiting will be pleased, these are beautiful superhot capsicum chinense cultivars. They are growing charming and industrious @chestnutpondfarm , where you can also pick your own #chestnuts in a few short weeks. Check them out!!

Last day in NZ walking neighborhoods in Christchurch. Every cafe, bakery, and gas station has a beautiful espresso machine and matching grinder dosing setup. I have been kicking quadruplo longos all over the country. My final snack was a stunning crispy tender egg shelled cloud roll classic bahn mi from a caravan food truck in a gas station parking lot. @bahnmiandbeyond taken in Christchurch, New Zealand by @capsaicinchiles

Mad oyster factory on the way to Kerikeri had a retail space with oyster dozens shucked or fried with chips. Mountains of shells suggested that they were busy. taken in Bay of Islands by @capsaicinchiles

Rosemary and garlic poached in olive oil, tossed with cashew, walnut, pecan, almond, and peanut, tossed with some #magmapowder and roasted off. They’re crunchy, herbaceous, salty, and spicy.
