Whiskey Dinner at Cap’s. 🥃

Join us September 23 at 6:30 PM for an evening of whiskey and a multi-course dinner, with each course thoughtfully paired for the experience.

The evening begins with oysters, followed by dishes including cedar plank salmon, braised pork belly, and smoked bone marrow, with a sweet finish to follow.

$150 per person
(Tax & gratuity not included)

This is the first of more whiskey dinners to come, so if you’re a whiskey lover, this is one to put on the calendar!

When’s the last time you dined at Cap’s on the Water? Tucked away on Myrtle Street, this iconic St. Augustine eatery has been serving up elevated, fresh seafood for decades. It was originally Prepaul’s Fish Camp – opening in 1947 – and became the Cap’s that we know and love in 1999.

Located on the Intracoastal Waterway, Cap’s offers amazing sunset views, outdoor dining, complimentary valet, dock access, the popular Sunset Oyster Bar, a covered pavilion, and indoor dining.

The night we visited, it had just stopped raining, which made it easy to get a table. We tried the conch fritters with a Thai chili remoulade, blackened flounder with coconut rice and pickled cucumbers, and the pan-seared flounder with garlic roasted potatoes and a citrus brown butter sauce. Make sure to leave room for dessert. We had the Key lime cup. 🍋‍🟩🍨

Nathan’s all-beef frank on a Chi-Town style bun, piled high with fresh blue crab, pepperoncini béarnaise & organic chives (or have a hot dog your way).

And because you can’t have a ballgame without some peanuts and Cracker Jacks…

🥜 Some Peanuts
A spicy, briny martini with your choice of vodka or gin + our housemade boiled peanut brine.

🍿 Cracker Jacks
A Cracker Jack Old Fashioned riff made with brown butter & Cracker Jack fat-washed whiskey.

Available at the bar only. The game will be streaming, so grab a seat, grab a drink, and come hungry.
