The year of being 24 was a big one for me and thanks for the birthday wishes! I managed to get a lot done and caught as many fish as I could along the way. I am normally not one to go to social media with anything political, but I guess this is where I draw the line. It's disheartening to see what's going on with this. As was shown in my interview, I'm an owner-operator charter fisherman who may not be able to afford the medallion bidding war, and it's not fair to make us bid against each other. What wasn't shown from my interview was me telling him that I've never had a client not get a parking spot, despite what a chairman had to say in the same news video about there being a parking problem. I also told them in my interview how this would affect tourism. I would say 90% of my clients when i ask them “what else do you have planned?” They tell me they are just there to hang out and the fishing trip is their only planned and big thing to do. If there's a yearly fee to pay, then so be it. But trying to make everybody bid against each other to do the same job and feed their families is just ridiculous. It’s tough enough to be a full time fisherman as it is and we don’t do it for the money. It’s because it’s what we love and what we refuse to give up! by @capt.timcrowley

Year 2 with Landon and stoked he got another trophy. There is no beating Landon’s resilience and strength, and I look up to him a lot. Landon’s definitely the toughest kid I’ve ever met.
