I’m not going to gatekeep this tinted sunscreen for my acne-prone and oily skin sisters. It’s my final step after skincare and moisturiser. For my combination skin, it gives that perfect glowy dewy finish. It’s also great for brown skin tones, providing that golden goddess glow while also acting as sunscreen. I absolutely love it and it’s almost finished.

Brown skin beauty community Captain Glam here 🤎
After living in Australia for the past 7 years, I noticed something in the beauty and influencer space.
A lot of beauty content here still follows very Euro-centric standards, and it can be hard to find creators talking about makeup and skincare for the full range of brown undertones.
But brown skin isn’t one shade.
We’re peach, chai, olive, honey, latte, coffee and everything in between, all with different undertones and beauty experiences.
So I’m building a space where we can talk honestly about makeup, skincare and products that actually work for us.
No filters. No pretending. Just real testing and real conversations.
If you’re a brown girl navigating beauty in Australia, you’re in the right place.
