POSTS STORIES REELS

Tldr;

When I was 12 years old, I thought it was the stupidest thing, wasting money on literal children's trading card games. But one day, I saw another girl playing and she was /good/. I wanted to be that girl. I wanted to be the one to defeat everyone in the school yard. My friend at the time told me to try. To which I bought my first two decks, Yugi and Pegasus. The decks were always stacked. Heck, I never knew what I was doing.. So my friend said 'watch the show'

Ffwd to my first episode Champion vs Creator, the last of Duelist Kingdom (which I'll get to later why this is also important), I had no idea what a Relinqueshed was, or what the heck the plot was, but...I was hooked.

I watched more episodes and I saw Mai. She was the coolest thing since sliced bread. Didn't care about Barbie, or My Little Pony, THAT was the girl I aspired to be (aside from being a magical girl, that is).

My friend said 'you're not 'pretty enough' to be Mai',, but I didn't let that stop me.

Then, on a Quizilla quiz I took a Yugioh boyfriend test, and I got Joey. Would you believe at the time, I liked Yami more? Lmao.

But alas, my husbando still stays a part of me. Anyway, I got good. I got real good. My friend/big brother Steven helped me. Still never beat him, but then, we worked on my Harpies. And well, the Mai reign began.

I dominated the school yard, and then Steven took me to Charlton where we would play after school every Friday. There, John and a few of his friends would also hang out. It was a time. This lasted well into my early 20s.

I'd look at my middle school friends and go "that's so Yugi of you, you're Tristan, you're Tea. I had my own little group, but I was still Joey.

I went to camp, where my uncle would write me letters about this little tiny man named 'Mr. Yugioh", which all my bunk mates loved reading about. They were silly and to my personal life, but it made all of us smile.

It wasn't until I was in High School when I took my card's everywhere and just loved everything about this trading card game and show. I did tournaments, met friends, and created characters online.

CCE dump part 1. I had so much fun being stupid as Poolcifer. Nothing like an inflatable duck and some squishy steess relief butter to liven the party. Friends truly made this weekend special. You know who you are.

More posts to come!

Plans made it out of the chat. Had so much fun this weekend as pirate Charlie. Morningstars and hats have no luck, so I got some horns instead. We were quite the crew.

I have such talented friends! So video review in next slide, but when I met my amazing Baxter friend at the Hazbin live, I didn't know he had this skill of making custom shoes. Me being the psycho that I am wanted to treat myself with some Static Eel shoes. We both share a love for Ethan so he said "aight" bet. And I said you are damn right I'm gonna be pulling a Bal and whoring these babies out on my feet and giving credit where it's absolutely due!

@got_it_memorized thank you so so so luch for going above and beyond (plus ultra? Wait wrong show) with these. I cant wait tonshow them off. They fit like a glove and I'm so proud of you for continuing your craft!

Talk about a Cinderella story. Hazbin Hotel has been my newest fixation since the beginning, and finding out there would be a Broadway Premier being the NY girl that I am, I had my heart set. However, while everyone was getting tickets and I was sitting around, I didnt realize how many people wanted to make me their +1. My hero @moonlvlcos had messaged me asking to be their plus 1 and then my lovely roommate @sparklegirlcostume had won! I asked Nic if we could use the ticket for another friend and they obliged. More shenanigans happened, but I was going! My best friend who was in town was like "oh I love Hazbin" so I was like whelp now I gotta win. Lo and behold ANOTHER friend won. More shenanigans happened but we collabed to where it was like a mini con.

Despite waiting in line for nearly 3 hours, we had a great time and I finally got to meet my Gemini Goddess @angie.be.nicole .

We got seated and passed a few of the VAs, but I was too shy to say hello for once lmao

Regardless, thank you to all my friends who made this possible, and congratulations to the whole cast and crew, who looked beautiful by the way.

@vivziebizzie you were absolutely glowing. This was your night, and we are honored to have shared it with you.

Here's to many more layers of Hell! ♡
