Amazing what you can fix with a carabineer clip I used as my key ring. Driving to an event on a side street I suddenly felt the acceleration pedal go limp and my car just idled in forward. Putting on my hazard lights I found a safe place to park. I looked under the dash and the pedal was intact. I opened the hood and looked at the other end of the throttle cable and saw that a plastic bracket had broken. It took me about 30 mins to figure out how to jury right something. I wrapped the cable around the spring and put it through the carabineer clip and I had a working throttle. Voilá. #womenwhofixshit #womenwhofixcars by @captainbarby

Seating in the cockpit is done. The second photo shows the non skid. The third photo shows the before deck condition. If you had wet feet it would be like stepping on ice. I used TotalTread. It worked great. Two coats was easy. #womenwhofixshit #womenwhofixboats #boatrepair #sailboatrestoration by @captainbarby
