✨CHAPTER 30✨
Closing one chapter and opening another. Looking back at the little girl I was and honoring the woman I have become….
Life has taken me through hardships I never thought I would face. I’ve experienced bad days and beautiful days, heartbreak and healing, losses and blessings. I’ve had moments that broke me, moments that changed me, and moments that reminded me just how blessed and favored I truly am.
I’ve learned that growing up isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about learning from what you’ve been through, giving yourself grace, and continuing to move forward even when life doesn’t look the way you imagined it would.
One of the things I’m most grateful for is my sobriety. Being sober has allowed me to see life with clearer eyes, feel things I once tried to escape, and truly understand the person I am becoming. It has taught me that healing isn’t always easy, but it is worth it.
At 30, I see life differently. I don’t take people, time, peace, opportunities, or blessings for granted. I’ve learned to trust God even when I don’t understand His plan. I’ve learned to rely on Him when I feel weak, to pray when I don’t have the answers, and to have faith when I can’t see what’s ahead.
I’m grateful for every version of me — the little girl who dreamed, the young woman who struggled, and the woman standing here today who is still growing, still healing, still learning, and still becoming.
30 years of life. 30 years of lessons. 30 years of grace.
I may not know exactly what this next chapter holds, but I know who holds it. And that’s enough for me.
Here’s to 30 — to growth, healing, sobriety, love, losses, blessings, favor, purpose, and trusting God with everything that comes next. 🤍🙏🏽✨ by @captainjonesss_
