You ever have a Baby Moose look at you?
I have now and it was a unforgetable expierence. I had 3 baby moose, twin yearlings and a 2 year old moose on my lastest 13 annual trip outwest.

fun fact
A baby moose, known as a calf, is the largest newborn of any deer species in the world. The calf’s size at birth provides a necessary head start for survival in harsh northern environments. Understanding the initial dimensions and the incredible rate of growth illustrates the biological demands placed on the mother and the young animal.

A newborn moose calf typically weighs between 28 and 35 pounds (13 to 16 kilograms) at birth. Some individuals can weigh up to 45 pounds (22 kilograms). This initial mass is a considerable advantage, allowing the calf to stand and walk within hours of being born, a necessity for avoiding predators.

The calf’s shoulder height often exceeds 3 feet (0.9 meters). Calves born as twins are generally smaller than single-born calves. Twin calves may weigh considerably less, sometimes around 14 pounds (6.4 kilograms) each, making them more vulnerable in their first weeks of life.

Rapid Growth and Development
The moose calf exhibits a rapid growth rate, a biological adaptation that is necessary for surviving its first winter. While nursing, a calf can gain an average of 2.2 pounds (1 kilogram) per day. This accelerated weight gain continues for the first few months of life.

Calves begin to sample solid food, such as vegetation, just a few days after birth, though they remain dependent on their mother’s milk for several months. By the time they are weaned, typically around six months of age, the calf will have increased its birth weight by more than ten times. By the fall, a calf can weigh between 300 and 400 pounds (136 to 181 kilograms).

The calf remains with its mother for approximately one full year, until she drives it away shortly before the birth of her next calf. At this point, the young moose is considered a short yearling and is forced to become independent. It will continue to grow until it reaches full maturity between four and six years of age. A larger body size significantly improves the young moose’s chances of survival taken in Grand Teton National Park by @captainsteve19

Don't over react Marta!
I bet is something @sandrazaniewska says a bunch :)
One of the most enjoyable thing to watch for me with seeing Marta play in person for the first time was Watching Marta and Sandra work and communicate.
The hand singles were sometimes hilarious, I think they make each other laugh with that communication method
Live,Life,laugh huh
Yeup.

This was during that Doubles match they lost in the match tiebreaker I mentioned in my post before this

3rd round match Cincy, Diana Shnaider vs Elena Rybakina "the Ace Queen"
Late in the match, I was a couple seats away from Diana's coach Shascha Bajin, Diana was struggling with returning Elena's serve (most do) it was very quite with Diana in front of us, Shascha says to D "hey D try taking a couple steps back"
She does then Bam Elena's serves a rocket!
Forget if Diana got a racket on it, all I remember is the funniest thing I heard on court the whole tournament

Diana Laughing while Saying that is not gonna work! all the fans and her coach laughed out loud.
Just love listening to Diana and Shascha work together. seems like a great team.

Wish I had pics of the moment, just watching it live but here are some pics of that match, Just uploaded them to my flickr
seen here.

In honor of the greatest WTA match of the year between Alex Eala and Iva Jovic in the 3rd round of the US Open I just witnessed. here are 6 pics from the cincy open of these two(they did not play each there just sharing pics I took of them there)

The quality of Tennis was outrageous between Iva and Alex in this 3rd round match, so so so good!
winner after winner after winner after winner. The ball striking was so precise.

The two are such great people as well, focused individuals that want to be the best, hope they meet in many many Grand Slam finals in the next decade and beyond

Seriously if you have not seen this match go to ESPN unlimited and spend $30 for a month. and watch this match.

US Open tennis at its finest.
Oh and
Stay tuned to my flickr account, I took over 35,000 photo's this year at the cincy open, will narrow it down to a couple hundred and put it as always on my flickr account in full res.

Alright Back to watching
US Open on!
