I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who has called, texted, sent cards, flowers, checked in, showed up, prayed for us, or supported me and my family in any way during the passing of my dad. 🙏🏾

I know I haven’t been able to reach back out to everyone, but please know that your name, your message, and your gesture have not gone unnoticed. I truly appreciate every single one of you.

These last two weeks, I’ve felt every emotion you can possibly feel all at once—something I’ve never experienced before. I’ve received so much advice from people who have experienced this type of loss about how to process it, grieve, and somehow continue moving forward. I appreciate those words more than you know.

A close friend said something to me that really stuck with me. Respectfully, he told me he wished he could’ve gotten to experience this type of pain. At first I was like, (damn!!)… that was a bar 😂. But I understood what he meant.

To hurt this deeply means I was blessed enough to have a father worth hurting this deeply over.

The type of man and DAD my father was makes me forever grateful that I got to experience that kind of love, bond, guidance, and presence in my life. Not everybody gets that blessing, and I will never take it for granted.

I’ll never question God. I just know He affectionately knew my dad too… and He must’ve really needed him.

Once again, thank you to EVERYONE who has supported me and my family through one of the toughest times of our lives. Every call, text, prayer, flower, card, hug, and simple “I’m here” has meant more than I can explain.

Thank you. 🙏🏾❤️ #FIRM4LIFE #WIZ #BOOBIE #MR16 by @capthadon

Never would have thought I’ll be making a post like this. I wanna start off saying I genuinely appreciate everyone’s texts and calls just wanting to help and send there prayers, love and sincere condolences due to the passing of my dad. When your a kid you think your parents will always be here like they’re immortal or super heroes. It’s weird I kept that feeling as a grown man just cause of the type of man and father my dad was. If you knew my dad you knew he was a one of one, a man’s man. I’m not going to talk your ear off but just extending the invite to everyone to come celebrate my dads life and say your see you laters never goodbye. I love you dad. I’m crushed💔💔. But you always taught me to stand firm and keep pushing and that’s exactly what Imma keep doing with my siblings. #Wiz #Thefirm #Mr16 #Boobie. Ralph “Wiz” Rodriguez Boobie by @capthadon
