I loved this portrait that I made for my new conceptart portfolio (it's actively in the works!) So I decided to give it a post of it's own. I redesigned my oc in realism:) Ig this it my new fav style to draw in rn #digitalart #conceptart #art #portrait #gameart by @captn_mons
Oh hey... didn't post in a while aha but I drew this #oc #digitalart #originalcharacter #art #noai by @captn_mons
Between working on my portfolio I finally decided to draw for myself, so I drew my tav that I still can't get over. The wild magic Sorcerer Tyrus. The only campaign I played from start to finish... #bg3 #art #digitalart #baldursgate3 #gameart by @captn_mons
I don't just draw pirates😶‍🌫️ Here's Kai! I really love him but his fuckass pants gave me an aneurism to draw. I love sharing my portfolio work but honestly can't wait to go back to not being worried about it all the time and just drawing in a comic style😪 #conceptart #digitalart #characterdesign #gameart #visdev by @captn_mons
Cultist assassin armor design for my fantasy world based on a dragon millipede! #originalcharacter #characterdesign #conceptart #fantasyart #artchallenge by @captn_mons
Wow so this was a hell of a journey... I knew I wanted a red sand desert with volcanic black rock and constant sandstorms for my fantasy world, now how do you draw that when you're not that great at drawing backgrounds in the first place🫣 3 million YT tutorials later here I am. Low-key learned so many skills on the way, and created some ungodly abominations. #conceptart #digitalart #digitallandscape #gameart #fantasyart by @captn_mons
Drawing her as a form of self care❤️‍🔥🪸 #art #originalcharacter #conceptart #pirate #digitalart by @captn_mons
Here's another set of swords! This time designed for an assassin faction called The Saint Justice Order🩸 I tailored most of them to be daggers for conceal carry, and to have a ritualistic cult like look to them. From left to right: 1. Kris style dagger with volcanic glass and mage runes. Definitely a very ritualistic dagger but could also be used to carry in combat. 2. Fang knife with volcanic basalt handle, this shape works with your body as you become one whole. 3. Obsidian knife. Definitely not a combat weapon. 4. Stiletto thrusting blade, minimal guard, armor piercing assassin dagger. 5. Laura's parrying needle point dagger (mostly offhand) with Order symbolism. 6. Laura's 2nd needle point dagger. 7. Greek Xiphos inspired viper blade (two color variations) possibly my favourite design. Just to have swords in the lineup. 8. A pair of elven scimitars. #conceptart#fantasyart#gameart #gameart #visualdevelopment by @captn_mons
Weapon design for the pirate gang Bloody Lagoon! Durable and flashy and mostly one - handed weapons. Now a bit of a breakdown cuz I'm a nerd and I care about what I design: 1. Inspired by Kukri machete, mostly a self defence tool, but great for clearing bushes and chopping heads. 2. I got inspired by scimitars and falchions, which aren't exactly exclusively a naval weapon but for some reason lots of media use them in a naval setting lol. This one was claimed by the sea. 3. Bou's cutlass😍 I don't think I need to explain why it is absolute perfection of a sword. It screams captain. And it's the most pirate sword of the bunch. 4. Apricot's verrry heavily modified Egyptian khopesh, I gave it my own curvature and a slightly more pirate look I suppose. Light, short and one handed, for maneuverability over force. 5.Heavy utility seax knife. Hehe sounds like sea knife. 6. Another falchion - style variant this time I added crab shells to the handle, which are the pirates' prized possessions. 7. Ok here's where I'm at a loss of a historical sword type to reference... I just went crazy ok? Rule of cool. Maybe Dao. 8. And a longer, slender variant of a khopesh to finish. #art #propdesign #conceptart #digitalart #noai by @captn_mons
Slight TW on second slide This is concept artwork for my original character Dallas the fire mage🔥 Took me a while until I was sure about his face proportions🤔 He uses wild magic and runes and those scars are from a pattern that fire burnt into his arms. What do you think about his design? #art #digitalart #originalcharacter #photoshop #noai by @captn_mons
