Whiskey, neat.

I saw her come in. Almost bewildered but empowered at the same time.
She ordered a drink and her eyes darted from corner to corner, roaming from conversations to and fro. A rancher, just there for a drink after work, the nomad, the local who didn’t even need to order, it was just ready as soon as his feet met the stool and a couple that held their gazes almost as if in a secret conversation.
She locked on to the band, especially the banjo player. She was in a trance.
Before we all knew it, she knocked back the rest of her whiskey and chased it with a beer then, grabbed that banjo as if it were hers. She kicked off her shoes and danced like wildfire around the bar before making her way out back, banjo still in hand. By this time everyone was cheering her on and buying her shots. She crept up the rickety staircase and sat on the balcony of the bar in a rocking chair and played until the day came to a close. We all paused and listened.
Once the sun dipped low, she slipped out of the saloon doors with a half-smile and just vanished.

It’s been 15 years since I updated my marketing photos… so it was definitely time! 📸✨

New photos, a fresh style, and a little refresh for this next chapter in real estate. Still the same Amber—just with an updated look to match where my business is today. 🏡❤️

A huge thank you to @capturebysherrie for capturing these beautiful new photos! 📸🤍

Here’s to 15+ years of helping buyers and sellers and many more to come!
