Not every moment is meant to be shared with the world. Some are simply meant to be kept close to the heart. 🫶🏼

When I first stepped into photography, I worried that I wouldn’t make the same kind of impact that I did in my previous roles. Boy, was I wrong. 🥹

One thing that means so much to me is being able to offer end-of-life photography sessions. These sessions are deeply personal, and there is absolutely no expectation for them to ever be shared publicly. Some memories are just for you, your family and the people you love most. 🤍

I’ve met people who have been told they may not have much time left, and if capturing one last photograph together gives a family something to hold onto, something to look back on and treasure for years to come, then I feel incredibly privileged to be the person behind the camera.

Photography isn’t always about creating content for social media or having beautiful images to show the world. Sometimes, it’s about preserving a moment such as the blanket the hands, everything had a story that deserves to be kept forever.

And if I can help someone hold onto a little piece of their story, their person, or a moment that means the world to them, then that’s something I will cherish forever.

Your memories don’t have to be shared to be special. Sometimes, the most meaningful photographs are the ones that stay just between you and the people you love. 🤍 ~ Captured by Kaylee

A little moment for our boy Pablo 🤎🐾

We recently had some professional photos taken and of course Pablo had to steal the show too 🥹 These photos are so special to us, especially knowing he’s the little face and inspiration behind bypablo.

There’s something so beautiful about a session like this. 🌿

A beautiful walking track surrounded by greenery near Mount Panorama, where the kids can run, explore and just be themselves while mum and dad sneak in a few sweet moments together. From the playful chaos to the quiet cuddles, it’s about letting everyone enjoy the moment and capturing it as it naturally unfolds.

The beautiful, cosy outfits, the little laughs, the cuddles, and all those in-between moments that make a session feel so natural. Because sometimes, the most beautiful memories are found in the moments you don’t plan.

And when the gallery is delivered, you get to relive it all over again. ✨

From a beautiful morning that slowly turned into a dreamy afternoon, surrounded by endless greenery and the sweetest kind of love 🌿🤍

There were plenty of laughs, lots of cuddles and some gentle direction along the way from our beautiful photographers but somewhere in between it all, we captured the moments that felt truly theirs.

And of course, their beautiful pup had to be part of the story too because the best memories are the ones shared with the ones you love most. 🐾

A morning I’ll be holding onto for a long time 🤍

What started as a slightly crazy morning turned into such a beautiful experience. This session was created by @maddileesphotography as a way for photographers to come together, gain experience, learn from one another and meet like-minded people who share the same passion for photography.

And somehow, amongst all the chaos, I walked away with more than just photos — I made new friends, connected with some incredible people and was reminded just how beautiful the photography community can be. 🥹

Although we had planned for sunrise, the cloudy morning had other plans for us. But honestly? I think it made the morning even more special. There was something so soft and intimate about the light, and the way this couple shared their story and their love with us was something truly beautiful to witness.

Their connection spoke for itself. The little glances, the laughs, the way they looked at each other — their love was so naturally present, and I feel so lucky to have captured even a small piece of it. 🤍

Days like this remind me why I picked up a camera in the first place. To meet people, hear their stories, create something meaningful and keep learning along the way.

So grateful to for such a beautiful opportunity and to everyone who showed up, shared their knowledge and made the morning what it was.

Coonamble Rodeo 2026 with my camera 🤠📸

This was one of those shoots where I had SO much fun, learned so much, and honestly… had no idea what I was doing 😂

I was still shooting on auto settings at this point and quickly realised that if rodeo photography was something I wanted to learn, I was definitely going to need a lens upgrade! 😂

But looking back, I’m actually so proud of these photos because they’re a little snapshot of where I started.

I’m so excited to see how much I learn throughout the year and compare these photos to what I’m able to capture at the rodeo next year.

My first official photoshoot with all my gear — and I couldn’t have asked for a more special one. 🤍📸

I was so incredibly fortunate that my first shoot was a family celebration — my beautiful nephew’s first birthday! 🎊

A day filled with family, friends, so much laughter, love, chaos and, of course plenty of cake. 🎂The adults enjoyed clay shooting meanwhile the kids were crashing in pops Ute, to ending the night gathered around a bonfire. It was one of those days filled with little moments that I knew I wanted to capture.

Being able to photograph the stories of others as they unfold is something I’m so excited for, but being able to start this journey by photographing my own family and preserving these memories for us is something incredibly special to me.

This day was more than just my first photoshoot. It was the beginning of something I’ve worked so hard towards, surrounded by the people I love most. 🤍

Here’s to many more stories, celebrations, laughs and memories to come.

My gear represents so much more than just a camera. It represents a dream I’ve worked incredibly hard to bring to life. 🤍

Finding the right camera wasn’t an easy decision. There were countless hours of research, comparing options, and making sure every investment was the right one. The upfront cost was significant, but I knew that building something meaningful meant investing in quality from the very beginning.

This has never been about having the most expensive equipment!

It’s about having the right tools to capture your stories. The quiet moments, the loud laughter, the milestones, the love, and the memories that deserve to be treasured for generations.

Every piece in this kit has been chosen with purpose, giving me the confidence to create beautiful, meaningful images for the people who trust me with their memories. While my gear will continue to evolve over time, my focus will always remain the same: creating timeless photographs that tell your story with authenticity and care.

Every investment I’ve made has been for one reason—to give my clients the experience and images they deserve.

A little more about the face behind the camera… ✨

Hi, I’m Kaylee. 🤍

Captured by Kaylee has always been about so much more than taking beautiful photos. It’s about creating a space where you can relax, be yourself, and have your story captured just as it is.

Before starting photography, I worked in community services, where I learned the importance of making people feel seen, heard and valued. That experience shapes every session I photograph and reminds me that the most meaningful moments are often the unplanned ones.

Whether we’re chasing a sunset, wrangling the kids, celebrating a milestone, or simply documenting this season of your life, my goal is to make the experience easy, fun and full of genuine moments. 🌸
