-Shabnam was an interesting one to work on because there was a different kind of energy to the whole process. The song and the music video had their own take on a love story, with a little bit of paranoia, chaos and humour mixed into it. With this BTS, we wanted to capture more than just how the music video was made. We wanted to show the people, the ideas, and the energy that went into it, and how everything came together to create something that felt a little different from the usual. by @capturedbyabdullah

-For this documentary, we wanted to bring out the connection between a father and a son, and how that relationship can shape a person in ways they may not even realize. The song itself came from a childhood memory of Asim Azhar’s father, while the music video explores a fictional story around the same idea. We wanted to connect these two stories through our storytelling and show how something we carry from our past can eventually become something that inspires others. We wanted this documentary to feel like Rangeen itself, colorful, chaotic, dramatic and full of life. The idea was to go beyond a traditional behind-the-scenes film and take people inside the making of the song and music video, the people, the process, the energy, the unexpected moments and everything happening behind the frame. It was a team effort from start to finish. I had the opportunity to produce and direct the documentary, working closely with @asaad.mov , who co-directed alongside me and shaped the overall story, structure and narrative through post-production. @shanoohashmi and @fawwadhashmii were on the ground throughout, capturing the BTS, process, interviews, performances and all the moments that eventually became part of the film. @talhainframes has been a huge help in assisting us with the post production of the short content and sorting out the data. Thank you to @mohammad_mohtashim and team for helping us with the footage and covering the jam sessions. Personally, I really liked the outro of the documentary. @coke_studio @kamalkay @zhsikander14 @qanit_fahem by @capturedbyabdullah
